Finished Season 2 and it's definitely more cynical than the 1st, that's for sure.

Bobby gets too much shit in season 2, he's just a nice guy trying to do his best and everyone constantly insults him. It really does make everyone else look worse in comparison.

Big Pussy's whole arc is wild too. He ultimately gets too careless and just gives up that he's working for the FBI to the guys. He does a total 180 Midway through the season because he was snubbed by Tony for the Captain position, but what was he expecting? He was already under suspicion.

The final episode is a total fever dream too. I like the first season more than the 2nd, that's for sure, but this one does have a more emotionally gripping finale with Pussy's death.

So Season 3 is finished, and I'm not gonna lie, I think it was overall the worst season of the show so far.

First off, Ralphie is such a dislikable character and I dunno why the show continually tries to make him sympathetic when so much of the shit that happens is his fault. He's a big earner for sure, but my god, it's insane the shit he gets away with, including murdering his girlfriend, who really didn't do anything wrong other than get into debt with Silvio.

Jackie Jr. is also such a god damn idiot. It's no wonder he gets himself and half his crew killed when they rob a low stakes poker game. He didn't have any of the skills or street smarts to make it in the mafia business, and he didn't even have the bookish intelligence to do anything with his life. He fucked up because he didn't bother applying himself and thought everything in life should have been handed to him.

Anthony Jr. as well, this whole season has been him finding a place in life, being a successful high school football player, but peer pressure and his anxiety attacks keep fucking him up. It's utterly ridiculous.

I will say though, Pine Barrens has probably been the best episode in the entire show thus far. Taking the show and making it similar to a thriller horror movie was a good concept, and we do actually get a lot of insight into how Paulie thinks.

That said, Gloria Trillo is such an annoying bitch, of course Tony would fuckin' fall for her. She clearly has emotional issues and Tony wonders why she's a fuckin' psycho. Finally, there's "Employee of the Month" which might be the worst episode in the series. The sexual assault scene is not fun and made me pretty uncomfortable the whole way through.

In the midst of Season 4 right now and I already think it's much better than Season 3.

But genuinely fuck Janice for preying on a grieving Bobby. She really is just one of the worst characters on the show. Especially after getting Ralph to dump Rosalie, and then realizing she didn't want him in the first place.

Also Ralphie almost getting whacked by the New York mafia cuz he can't keep his mouth shut sounds about right. Don't talk shit about a man's family.

That being said, Paulie being in jail is a great set-up to why he's not around and Christopher is being involved even more now. Paulie also being the one to tip off the New York mafia on a lot of the Soprano business also is a perfect way to add tension to the season. Patsy and Chris having a rivalry might pay off later, but I dunno.

Been thinking though, what in your guys' opinions is Tony's biggest mistake in the series? Maybe not necessarily one that was unavoidable, but one Tony had full control over and completely botched.

Watched The show more times then I can remember. Season Two and Season Five are the best series for myself. But five if I'm being truly honest is my favourite as there's a lot of characters come in. Tony Blundetto ( Ton y sopranos cousin ) gets out Feech La Manna and For NY Phil Leatardo and a few others but Frank Vincent whom plays the character is outstanding in this role.

Johnny Sack or Lil Carmine are at war to become boss. It's got a lot of good action in it.

It is. But season four makes up for it and the best season is five when Tony Blundetto ( Tony Sopranos cousin gets out of jail ) Feech La Manna ( Bit of a hot head ) and a few others. On the New York Side Carmine Jnr and Phil Come to make peace after a few eps. Plus Phil Leatardo gets out and he's the most dangerous person to the sopranos ( why season five the best ) six is good as it's split into two Episodes 1-13/ 14-21.

Didn't realize other members liked the show. It's my favourite show by a mile and then Peaky Blinders.
But I think the funniest episode is in Season Three when Chrissy and Paulie get lost down in Pine Barrens I laughed so much I got the giggles it's for me that funny episode showed the sopranos wasn't just a mafia show it could also do comedy as these two wise guys make it so. By far best episode the whole series, they really find a lot out about one another do these two.

In The soprano community she's one of the more likeable characters sure she insane but deep down just want every person's does is to find love and she thinks off to she will. You will get a shock how she meets her fate and it through Tony.

Could it be him and Richie cleaning out the sports shop and letting Janice get with Richie. Jackie Jnr he could of helped him more by taking a bigger interest in his work. Plus Series one where Junior and his mom plot his murder but he gets revenge on Junior by taking everything he had away from him . Also Killing Ralphie his biggest earner.

Junior is my favourite as he's old but smart as A whip in the end season six ep 21 when aTo y tells him " This thing of ours " Junior goes I was part of that? Yeah you and my dad your kid brother Johnny ran north jersey. It sinks in to tony that junior had dementia and Im not going to lie I had a tear in my eye.

Paulie is also as he's hard as nails and doesn't mind telling anyone older or younger not the kind of guy you mess with.

Chrissy - As he beat his heroin addiction and instead became a caffeine addict instead. Yeah he relapsed with Julia and in the end it was his demise when Tony S kills him after seeing the car seat that his kid could of been in and when Tony heard the chosen one say he would fail the drug test . Tony went like only one of the greatest actors of his generation James Gandoldfini had a look that give me chills.

Sil - Funny AF but smart as a whip. Got the best job in the whole crew running the strip club. Was a bit daft how it wasn't resolved if he made it or not.

Bobby - Juniors lackey at first but like Janice told him when his wife died you've been punching you're ticket in day in day out. Junior is patience but he's at a point where if you don't do your job he will replace you, meaning Junior. Bobby I liked never had a Gumare ( side woman ) and liked trains. He beat Tony S man to man which Tony got his revenge by making his bones ( got him to kill that young kid )

Johnny Sack ( NYC underboss, then boss) Vincent Curatola has the most meanest eyes I've ever seen and he is a good actor that he became a regular on the show. I liked it when he called his wife Rubenesque about gini his wife to tony he was on about womens self esteem when Tony says your telling me. Johnny tells him different for us women self esteem etc

This for me is the best TV show ever made and if I feel down I watch it and it cheers me up.
