Album Listen #166: This was a metal album that gave me what I wanted from it - although it didn't change my life per say. I have always enjoyed listening to the Disturbed and this made for very good album.​

Album Listen #167: Gaga is probably the biggest Pop artists in the last twenty years IMO - and the first four songs are a super strong start to this album. There are a couple of songs that I skip normally, but I do think as a debut album it is pretty awesome. It not even close to being her best album either though. I have always thought Chromatica. ​

Album Listen #168: My youngest sister used to listen to Britney all the time - and this was one of her limited albums on rotation. I don't mind the occasional song from Spears, but this album wasn't for me. ​

going through Chris's leftover albums now - arcade fire : up my alley as far as indie rock, like the vibe so far. Velvet Underground - respect what it brings - not really for me as it didnt really touch any emotions. reminding me a bit of bob dylan

That’s fair, her earlier work on here is way more bubblegum poppy and that may not appeal to everyone. This album is my favorite from her but I love all of her stuff.

In The Zone, Circus, Britney, and Oops I Did It Again are her best in my opinion. BOMT is a classic though so I had to go with what started it all for her.

I’m glad you gave it a shot Juice.

Kendrick Lamar : appreciate the high production and unique samplings. interesting flow. unsure if its for me and i may be feeling old and in the "im not sure i get it" group. for sure I found it interesting and different. also interesting subject matter
