3 more albums and Chris is fully rated. Chris likes twangy lightly distorted guitars and singers who like to sound British. The Strokes I would say is his signature band for me that captures the most common essence of the style he likes the most. rock, not overly aggressive, clever and sometimes whimsical. obviously much more range than just that but this is my broad strokes (hah) review of Chris's choices overall (with some rap and prog thrown in there, but def all about that 00s retro sounding indie rock). feel free to tell me I am way off base @Chris

I liked it, if I wasn't overly clear btw , haha. Not all of it was for me but I didn't actually dislike anything outright. The stuff I didn't love I wouldn't mind being on, and some of it was pretty interesting (Kendrick) and showed some cool ideas. I can see why the people who do love it do, certainly would classify it as experimental. arcade fire and the smiths were the standout albums I hadnt fully listened to in the past. Neutral Milk Hotel I liked some songs a lot. Another thing I have noticed is that you seem to really like an album to have a flowing vibe from a to b.
