Who would take Ryback as a serious contender? Atleast Rollins has the Authority in his corner.

Could take a while for Rollins to get over as a 'valid' contender for the belt. It would be interesting to throw him in the MITB match and have him win it for a title shot...Though may end up with the similar orton angle.

Well their enforcer just quit, why not just beat the ever living shit out of them and let it be that? Machiavelli tactics like that, would be Russo-esque by having Rollins jump from group to group. Rather have this be a vehicle to make another legit title contender, because who does Daniel Bryan actually have to work with? I'll say this in out of date context....Bryan has ne "heel" challengers, the lack of maineventers is so bad that Kane is the only feasible challenger the champ has. Atleast with Rollins, you have a program probably after Summerslam.

A Russo-esque twist can be a good thing, IF pulled off right, and IF used extremely sparingly. Its not too far fetched, since double agent tactics have been used in the past(Cena/Nexus, Bryan/Wyatts) just not executed properly.

As far as Bryan is concerned, I don't think he will defend the title at MITB, leaving the Shield/Evolution match as the main event again, and the MITB match itself crowning a proper #1 contender. There are a number of upper mid card guys who with that small push of the briefcase could be seen as contenders. Sheamus, Cesaro, Wyatt, and even Barrett could be built up as a challenger within a few PPV's, and there is always their ace in the hole Brock, who can come back for a one off match if they are really in need of it.

Memba when Angle turned his back on WWF to join the Alliance and then turn back to be the saviour of WWF all along? How'd that work for him? Oh yeah, he killed all that momentum he gained before that turn when he was THE HOT babyface and never got back to that for along time. Bryan/Wyatts Cena/Nexus are even worse examples, because NOBODY liked either one of those.

Rather WWE just keeps this simple, he turned on his friends for money and power, they feud up til Summerslam.....Rollins goes on to face Bryan in that cluster of PPVs after August and you are atleast guaranteed some damn good mainevents during that lul period and then round Survivor Series, you had enough time to make Bray a contender, Cesaro a contender, and maybe even Barrett or even a heel Sheamus who thinks he can just walk over that guy he beat in 18 seconds.

I'd agree that having Rollins be a "mole" wouldn't be a good move. In this day and age the whole double turn thing is more harmful for a character than it is helpful. In the case of Rollins turning on the Shield in favor of Triple H and Evolution is a probably the best for Rollins future when it comes to the Shield breaking up. I think out of the three he had the least favor-ability "politic-wise" since it's clear that the company sees a star in Reigns, and I truly believe that Ambrose has the potential to be the next big heel if given the right singles opportunity.

I'm just most nervous that this angle might fall in par with how many potentially good angles have fallen in years past... I'm hoping there is a long-ish range goal with this rather than something that was just thrown together because they didn't know where to go from the Payback PPV.

It looks like WWE are actually thinking about contenders for Bryan, finally!

After Kane you couldn't really see anything very interesting, apart from maybe Orton/Bryan or Batista/Bryan before he left but that would of got tedious fast, A Rollins/Bryan rivalry would be brill, would definitely be a match worth watching there. I can see Ambrose being phased out as Reigns seems to be lined up to go on-on-one with HHH, bye bye Ambrose and no more main events for you it seems.

Where exactly would Ambrose go? He is the better talker of that group and the bitches love him. Not sure why the thought of a Kevin Von Erich or Buddy Roberts should make anyone think all 3 members of The Shield won't go on to be top stars. They all offered something different, Ambrose could have a great feud with Bray Wyatt after this, could anyone imagine the Shielkd guys taking up every quarter hour of Raw? That would fix WWE's star power right there.

For real? Roman Reigns is still the greenest of the bunch. He(Reigns) will most likely be the biggest star out of them, but Ambrose, might be unorthdox and spazzy, but that's what sets him apart from everyone else on that roster. He stands out from every cookie cutter developmental graduate that's for sure.

I'm not saying he's bad, not at all. But Out of the three of them he's out-performed, especially as a face I don't really see him going anywhere fast.

On the contrary, Eugene was one of the most popular faces of '04. Sure he fizzled out, but that gimmick got way bigger than they intended. I'd say most wrestling fans remember Eugene quite well.

I see Ambrose as a better heel though, not that he'd be bad as a face at all, it's just that he could be a great heel.

Aslong as Rollins/Bryan have a feud that lasts atleast 2 ppv's then I don't care if the guy is on an hour per show lol.
