Not like Canada is any better.....let a bunch of truckers that and Que-Anon(because it's Canada, get it?) take over Ottawa and nothing is done.....but a native village tries blocking a pipeline from going right through their territory that is supposed to be recognized from Treaties signed in the 1800s and officially recognized by our Supreme Court in 93 (Read: Delgamukx case) and all of a sudden 4 squads of RCMP armed to the teeth with 10 snipers locked on them are brought in within days......almost 3 years in a row and will probably happen again this year because it's become a February tradition at this point.
