Alright guys, so yesterday I was talking to @Jet Starr about an issue that I noticed big time in previous leagues that I felt needed to be restricted, and we both ended up agreeing on the matter. So as a new rule when it comes to promos this year, unless it will actually impact the overall story (such as my kayfabe suspension last year during my rivalry with @SupaHeeroh ), there will be no attacking of non-wrestling personnel (meaning commentators, ring announcers, doctors, interviewers, etc.).

The reason for this rule is that throughout previous leagues, it seems that people have just wanted to attack these guys as a random promo so they don't get a strike for not promoing, or because they for some reason thought that attacking somebody who is not a competitor in the ring somehow made their guy look strong. Also, how often do you see non-wrestling personnel get attacked on RAW or SmackDown? We try to make this league as realistic as possible, and non-wrestling personnel getting attacked on such a constant basis is not realistic, as it is actually a very rare occurrence in real life.

As for punishment for breaking this rule, unless Jet has already come up with a different punishment, I say it should result in a strike unless you can explain to Jet (or a member of the Board) how the attack will effect your current storyline.
Define attacking

Define attacking

*Enter guy one with interviewer*

Interviewer: What do you think of your strong following in the gay community?

Guy: You're a skrub!

*Powerbombs interviewer through a flaming barbed-wire table covered in thumbtacks*

Guy: I'm edgy, bitch!

It should be called physical attacking then since just attacking is too vague.

I never wanted to attack any officials, but since it's now a rule I kind of want to attack one :p

I get why it's a rule, I do, but does it need to be a rule to be enforced?

Since someone attacking a non wrestling employee for no reason other than to do a cheap promo, why don't they just get a bad promo rating (which affects ranking this year) so no one really gains by doing a cheap promo.

And what about writing up referees getting knocked down when you write up the end of the matches?

*NEW RULE* No physically attacking non-wrestling personnel whether employed by the company or not for a promo without being able to explain to @Jet Starr how it will impact your current storyline (meaning Jet must approve of your reasoning). Should you break this rule, Jet will decide your punishment.

Is that clear enough for everyone?

And if you want to see Jet and my reasonings for this rule, feel free to look at previous posts about the topic within this thread.

Character Terra Hayze

Finishers: Leg Drop DDT, Arm Trapped Cross-Face

Jet: Are you sure about this?
*In his new office, Jet is sitting at his desk with what looks like a contract in hand. And sitting opposite of Jet is a very familiar face*
Terra: I have no desire to lose my position within this company, so if signing a part-time wrestling contract is what it takes to do that, then fine.
*Reluctantly, Jet places the contract down on the desk in front of Terra, then handing her a pen. As she begins signing, Jet adds-*
Jet: I hope that this means that we will be able to put aside any bad blood.
Terra: I don't see any reason why we would have-
Jet: It's just that I know you weren't too happy about the fact that I beat you out to become the new General Manager of this place, so I wanted to make sure that we would be able to put that behind us and work together in a civil manner.
*Terra glances up a Jet, plastering a forced smile on her face as she finishes signing. She then pushes the contract across the desk, forcing it slightly into Jet's chest, as she rises to her feet*
Terra: Of course.
*Terra then makes her way out of the office, slamming the door shut behind her on her way out*
Jet: Well, that went better than I was expecting...

You can't sign up for a match. You are in the school

He can. It's because, in the end, people still want to have matches and if they are in the school for too long, they may get discouraged and quit. So they can still have matches, but they must keep up with their school promos.

Don't worry dood, you mean well, but relax... *hands cookie* :bayley:
