@Jet Starr Is it alright if I swap out the Torture Rack Bomb for the S.O.S.? The TRB just seems like too much heavy-lifting for a cruiserweight like Emerson to have as his finisher. The name will still be the Lucky Break

I don't remember that happening too much. I just remember infamous doing it once or twiceAlright guys, so yesterday I was talking to @Jet Starr about an issue that I noticed big time in previous leagues that I felt needed to be restricted, and we both ended up agreeing on the matter. So as a new rule when it comes to promos this year, unless it will actually impact the overall story (such as my kayfabe suspension last year during my rivalry with @SupaHeeroh ), there will be no attacking of non-wrestling personnel (meaning commentators, ring announcers, doctors, interviewers, etc.).
The reason for this rule is that throughout previous leagues, it seems that people have just wanted to attack these guys as a random promo so they don't get a strike for not promoing, or because they for some reason thought that attacking somebody who is not a competitor in the ring somehow made their guy look strong. Also, how often do you see non-wrestling personnel get attacked on RAW or SmackDown? We try to make this league as realistic as possible, and non-wrestling personnel getting attacked on such a constant basis is not realistic, as it is actually a very rare occurrence in real life.
As for punishment for breaking this rule, unless Jet has already come up with a different punishment, I say it should result in a strike unless you can explain to Jet (or a member of the Board) how the attack will effect your current storyline.
It's happened multiple times before. Hell, I even did it a long time ago.I don't remember that happening too much. I just remember infamous doing it once or twice
Who did it last year? It's happened multiple times before. Hell, I even did it a long time ago.
It's happened quite a few times over the past few years, some big culprits of it being Impact, Infamous, and Smudgy (and it's not just them, as I'm sure that we've all been culprits of it at one point or another). Also it's not just about how often it has happened, but also the fact that it happens for no reason. If there is no storyline purpose to attacking them, then why do it?I don't remember that happening too much. I just remember infamous doing it once or twice
I mean, does every promo need a purpose? Why not just shoot out something for fun once a month? I guess heels like to attack staff while faces make fun of heels. It's happened quite a few times over the past few years, some big culprits of it being Impact, Infamous, and Smudgy. It's a cheap promo that is only there for one of the 2 reasons I mentioned before. And in real life, purposely attacking non-wrestling personnel has consequences, those often being suspensions. The main point of this rule is to give people one less cheap promo to go to rather than actually working to make a story good. The goal here is to make promos better, and I honestly don't see why you're arguing against something that is meant to do that.I mean, does every promo need a purpose? I'm arguing? I replied twice 2:It's a cheap promo that is only there for one of the 2 reasons I mentioned before. An argument doesn't have to be a full blown conversation where you are yelling at each other. It can just be, and I quote, "a reason or set of reasons given with the aim of persuading others that an action or idea is right or wrong." Which is exactly what you were trying to doI'm arguing? I replied twice 2:

I'm not saying that every promo needs a purpose. I'm saying that I want people to actually try with their promos this year instead of using generic ones that we've seen used a plentiful amount of times with a goal of getting cheap heat or a cheap pop."I don't remember that happening too much. I just remember infamous doing it once or twice"
Well, I was just saying I didn't remember it happening.
"I mean, does every promo need a purpose? Why not just shoot out something for fun once a month? I guess heels like to attack staff while faces make fun of heels."
And yeah, I still don't think every promo needs purpose.
I'm not going to sit here and argue with you though. Peace out
