Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

Read the last few lines.

Once again, we don't know what's going to be on the DVD. For all you know, you'll see such terrible Bret Hart matches as the flag match with Bulldog against Vader and The Patriot. Maybe the Taker match will be his dullfest he had with The Executioner. Hell, maybe the Rock match will be against Tom Brandi.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the DVD has to offer, but your update didn't give us any real indication of what will be on the DVD set. So there's going to be a Shawn Michaels match, great, there's practically a HBK match on every DVD set.

Do you think the WWE are morons? They're going to put the best matches on the DVD

Is that a trick question?

Do I think the WWE is going to only put on the very worst of IYH on the DVD? No, but I also don't know how good of selections they will make either. Once again, your update didn't give us a single hint for what they were going to add on the DVD's. The WWE has released plenty of questionable matches on their DVD's while leaving off great matches.

My update? Dude that was the only one that's been released. They haven't released the matches yet.

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

Silvervision finally reduced the CM Punk set, £8.99 for the DVD, £9.99 for the blu-ray.

Blu-Ray sold out super fast. More stock should be coming soon, but it's a risk waiting as I could be at work. Someone decide for me, just cave and get the DVD?

For anyone asking, the only difference in matches is vs. Rey Mysterio from Armageddon in 2008 (a great match).

Also, Horrorfan_1986 do PWG or Highspots do any sales regularly on PWG DVD's?

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

Again with the damn KOTR 98 match.....

Although, I love that the IYH: Rock Bottom title match is on here. Never saw the match. Haven't heard many good things about that match or that show but I'm looking forward to it. I might pick this up, actually.

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread!

I thought that, but at least it's got an alternate commentary this time.

That's true...and with Joey Styles no less. That should be worth watching that match for the 1,097th time.

That match had to be on here, it was the highlight of Foley's career. Like you said, the alternate commentary is worth it.

Here's the official synopsis for the Top 25 Rivalries.

WWE Superstars clash year-round with championships, glory, and personal pride on the line. But only 25 rivalries can be considered the greatest in sports entertainment history. Now for the first time ever, WWE counts down the most intense rivalries of all time. With each segment narrated by a different WWE or mainstream personality, each rivalry takes on a life of its own as WWE fans get an inside, never-before-seen perspective on their favorite showdowns. From the grudges born from equal pursuit of a common goal to those where the animosity crosses personal boundaries, all the timeless conflicts in the history of WWE, WCW, NWA, ECW and more are presented. Featuring Cena vs Edge, Stone Cold vs Mr McMahon, Ric Flair vs Ricky Steamboat and many more, this controversial countdown is sure to be dissected and debated by fans of all eras. Plus, special features include over 5 hours of bonus matches highlighting the rivalries presented in the countdown.
