Look at Peyton Manning when his production unexpectedly dropped in his final NFL season in 2015, having his worst season, despite the Broncos winning Super Bowl 50. That season, he threw for 2,249 yards, 9 touchdowns, 17 interception, with a 67.9 passer rating, and had to be benched for Brock Osweiler later in the season. It's crazy that I didn't see that coming, having a fantastic 2014 season, throwing for 4,727 yards, 39 touchdowns 15 interceptions, 101.5 passer rating, to drop like a brick the next season in production.

Plus with that big of a cap hit, I don't see anyway they'll be able to afford other positions on defense.

The Packers are pretty much looking down the barrel of mediocrity for the next four years.

I don't really see any way Deshaun Watson plays in the NFL again tbh, not with those civil lawsuits still hanging over him.

I highly doubt Rodgers is even staying for all four of those years either. He's 38 years old and has to start dropping in ability dramatically at some point. I will not be surprised if he becomes like Ben Roethlisberger this year.

Thank you. This is why this move makes no sense to me. Essentially Green Bay has learned nothing from the past few years. Sure Green Bay can compete in their division but analysis act like Chicago doesn't have the ability to do something in the next two years. Additionally it's not Green Bay's offense that gets them in trouble. It's often their defense and secondary. So where is the money going to come from to fix that?

Long term prediction. If Green Bay doesn't win a Super Bowl next year Green Bay is going to have to eventually renegotiate with Rodgers to come up off that guaranteed money.

Supposedly Rodgers' contract is back-loaded for years 2-4. Which would barely give them enough money to scrape together a team to win. So basically Green Bay is now going all in on the idea that they can win this year, and if they don't, chances are, Davante Adams is gone, Aaron Jones is gone, Jaire Alexander is gone, and the Packers are then saddled with a worse cap hit than the Vikings are with Kirk Cousins.

Green Bay is selling their entire future on the prospect that they can win in a single year when it's been proven time and time again that Aaron Rodgers fucking sucks in playoffs.

Oh shit now the NFC East really got interesting because of this Trade. Now I have to deal with Wentz two times a Year should be interesting how my Philly familia treat him this upcoming Season. They have some nice pieces on both sides of the ball at least you have a QB that can do something. Now work on the Secondary and go from there.

This division is hilarious. Outside of Philly I have no idea what to make of this division. The AFC South just got easier for Lawrence.

Check this the Colts don't even have a 1st Round Pick the Eagles own it because of the first Wentz trade. So either the Colts will try to get someone in FA and I don't know who that is for them or draft a QB but that might not till the 2nd Round and you don't know if any quality Rookies will even be there.
