The big thing with Gragson is the animosity with Ty Gibbs.

It’s like when Hendrick got rid of the 5 for awhile. It just felt wrong. like some numbers just should always be connected to a team. 2 for Penske, 5 for Hendrick, 43 for Petty(no matter the team name lmao) , 18 for Gibbs. I’d say 3 for RCR, but like, I’m a little bit iffy on that number if it ever goes away again, I understand.

Austin Dillon has bastardized the 3. If Rick could ever fire his other grandson, he should put the 3 away for a while until he finds somebody who can actually drive.

Corey Heim got passed over for the JGR Xfinity ride because Ty didn't like him. Silver Spoon is running that team from the looks of things. I'd say they'll go after Briscoe if they can get him away from Ford. If that falls through, Erik Jones is probably the Plan B.

That is very unfortunate. I would like to see what Noah could do in a JGR car. I think he’s got talent, just hasn’t been able to show it sadly. Was with Legacy which isn’t going to help anyone, and SHR isn’t what it once was.

Nope. If Ford likes him, maybe he lands in the 21, which again, isn't much. I'd rather see him with FRM than WBR at this point.

The team is not expected to name Truex’s replacement immediately, but Chase Briscoe is considered one of the leading candidates to fill the vacancy, sources briefed on the team’s plans said.”

I saw someone the other day trying to say Kyle ends up back at JGR. Which ngl I kinda wanna see, just to see some of the people who became Kyle fans after the switch, go back to not liking him.

Dude, I've seen that floating around. It would be a helluva story, for sure. I just don't think it happens unless RCR wants to do a total reset (which I think is needed)

His contract was like, 2 years with an option (I’m pretty sure it’s Richards.) so yeah, Richard would just have to be like, yeah go ahead

Oh, Richard would charge Joe a high price to get him. No way he'd just let him walk. I think Kyle probably burnt his bridges on his way out the door there, but it would be a helluva Silly Season story.

I think that I have seen/heard every speculation possible when it comes to RCR next year....

Plus yesterday I saw the speculation of Chase Briscoe in the 19...which I would be very surprised about.

Speaking of the 19... apparently MTJ is going to announce his retirement today for when this season is over. Actually within minutes from me posting this.

Says he will still be around, so I guess he will still run races sometimes, just wondering for who as I don’t see them not keeping 4 cars full time so Truex can run some sometimes lol

Truex Jr. has been one of my favorites since I started following NASCAR. First Dale Jr. and then Truex Jr. So this tugs at the heart a bit. Hope that MTJ really does stick around the sport.
