From what I could tell Crafton was trying to block and get back in line in front of Sanchez but there was not enough room and Crafton took it as Sanchez purposely causing him to wreck when really Sanchez couldn't do anything to prevent Crafton from getting turned. It was typical racing.
Also I do think that Craftons taking out his frustrations over him having another lackluster year on Sanchez. He hasn't won a race since 2020 and really wasn't in the championship picture much this year. Just feel like he's losing his cool while being the veteran in the garage as the younger guys have more success.
I've seen comments of like "Well, he tapped Sanchez on the shoulder. He should have seen it coming" but a tap on the shoulder sometimes is someone being playful or whatever also. Like tapping the shoulder that's on the opposite side of where you're standing to trick the person. I have seen that happen way more than someone intending to throw an unexpected punch.
