Golding did a sub-par job overall as defensive coordinator. It was for the best for him to go elsewhere, because he can't seem to keep the defense motivated and competitive against opposing offense in big games. The defense has give up big plays, tons of yards and more points from previous years, it's just not cutting it. I do hope the next guy Saban hires works the defense in shape, and make them a fierce defense.
