Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn, Destination X. Lynn attempts a roll-up to start the match. RVD does a leg-sweep and an armbar on Lynn. String of moves and mat wrestling by both wrestlers. Side-headlock by Lynn which is countered by Rob with a head-scissors. Lynn attempts a belly-to-back suplex. Outside the ring, RVD front suplexes Lynn onto the guard rails. He gets up on the ring apron, does his trademark "RVD" taunt and hits Lynn with his spinning kick. Inside the ring, RVD puts Lynn away with his frog splash.

While not as fast-paced as their classic ECW matches over a decade prior, RVD vs. Lynn at Destination X was still a physical and entertaining match.

Abyss vs. Brian Kendrick for Abyss's XTreme title at Destination X. Whenever Abyss had the upper-hand on a fallen Kendrick, he would read The Art of War by Sun Tzu instead of capitalizing on a downed opponent. He did it constantly throughout the match. Abyss bumps into referee Earl Hebner which knocks Hebner unconscious. That ref bump is the oldest trick in the book. Also, the match was marred with too much outside interference from Eric Bischoff, Scott Steiner, and X-Division wrestlers. It wasn't a good match.

Kid Kash vs. Mason Andrews. Destination X (2012). Mason just won a four-way match when Kash rushed into the ring to take advantage of a tired Mason. Kash hammers away with forearm shots on a fallen Andrews. Kash firmly plants his right foot on Andrews' chest for a pin. When Mason gets momentum, Kash beats him with a stiff clothesline. The end comes when Kash misses an Assai moonsault as Mason lifts his knees up to counter-attack. Kash is writhing in pain. Mason pins Kash with a roll-up to advance in the tournament.

AJ Styles vs. Christipher Daniels. Destination X, 2012. Last Man Standing Match with Dixie Carter and AJ Styles having a love affair with Dixie carrying AJ's baby. Brutal match as both wrestlers were busted open. On the entrance ramp, AJ executes a backflip, inverted DDT on Daniels. AJ does the Styles Clash on Christopher Daniels from the entrance ramp all the way through a table. Both wrestlers were down but AJ beats the count. Highlifgt reel stuff such Daniels' putting AJ with a sidewalk slam through a steel chair. AJ hitting Daniels with a pele kick.

But the love affair angle was silly. Dixie's acting wasn't persuasive as she ran into the sound room to find the incriminating recording. "We're both married! Christopher shouldn't expose our private conversation."

James Storm vs. Bully Ray. No Surrender. Semi-finals with the winner having to wrestle Jeff Hardy in the finals. Not at all a good match. Referee Earl Hebner was knocked unconscious. Alternate referee Stifler came in he, too, was bumped. Then Earl got up but was knocked out inadvertantly by Storm. Bobby Roode rushes in and smashes a beer bottle over Storm's head. Earl regains consciousness as Bully drapes his arm over a fallen Storm and makes the count. Three ref bumps total.

RVD vs. Magnus. No Surrender 2012. The young up-and-comer versus The veteran. RVD front-suplexes Magnus onto the steel guard railing but took too long with his "Whole F'kin Show" posturing to the audience on the ring apron which gave Magnus enough time to get out RVD's spinning legdrop. Inside the ring, Magnus executes a flying elbow-drop and attempts a Texas cloverleaf. RVD counters with a low dropkick on Magnus' knee and a Rolling Thunder. But RVD seems to have injured his left knee while he finished off Magnus with the Five-star Frog Splash.

Hulk Hogan vs. Honky Tonk Man. When Hogan nailed Honky Tonk with his guitar, shouldn't it have been a disqualification?

For a complete blow off, that was a fun match.
