Johnny Impact vs. Rich Swann for Swann's X-Division title. Slammiversary XVII. Johnny armdrags Rich and wears him down with a wristlock. Swann dropkicks Impact. Rich DDT's Impact. Rich connects with a Savagesque elbow-drop. Impact's manager Johnny Bravo interference is a constant throughout the match: he picks up the thumbtacks leftover from the previous match and hands it to Impact. He kicked Swann repeatedly outside the ring.

Impact tries a springboard spear, Swann counters with an uppercut to his chin. Rich with eight straight strikes, two cutters, and pins Impact with the Phoenix Splash. A headscratching moment is when both wrestlers were outside the ring and Johnny Bravo pushes an unconscious Impact back into the ring at the count of nine. Impact should've won the match by a count-out; instead, the referee restarted the count for Rich.
