I agree that he should be pushed alongside those I mentioned, I'm just saying that if this injury were to end his career it wouldn't be a disaster for WWE.

No, I agree, it wouldn't yet, because he hasn't reached the main event yet.

K, where has Kennedy shown any diversity in his character to warrant such acclaim?

The guy is a one trick pony.

Depends what you mean.. But look at some main eventers, some of which I'm a fan of... Batista... Where's his diversity? Triple H? Rey Mysterio? The only main event guys with diversity in character are guys like HBK, Cena, Jericho, Edge, and Orton. But guys like Triple H and Batista, who are two of the most well known and accomplished main eventers this decade are at the top while being almost completely simple (especially Triple H in his face mode). If those guys can be main eventers, with such a lack of diversity, then a guy like Kennedy, who has less than Cena, Edge, or HBK, but more than Batista and Triple H, can surely main event.

HHH has had plenty of diversity in his character over the years...

I agree with you on Mysterio and Batista and I can't stand them either for the exact same reason.

Oh, i know that HHH has had plenty of diversity. From heel, to jokester, to tweener, etc. But nowadays, he's still hugely over, even though he's just another generic face right now. Off topic a bit, but if he can turn heel, it'd be great.
Anyway, I know you don't like Batista or Rey, because like we both said, they lack character diversity, but my point is, logically, that should allow Kennedy to be a main eventer, because even if you feel he lacks diversity, you can't deny he has more of it than either of those two, so if the standard of being a main eventer allows a guy like Batista or Rey, and the current version of Tripel H to main event, then surely Kennedy should meet those standards.

So because there is a low standard right now the right thing to do would be to give Kennedy a shot because 'Hey, he's no worse that so and so who is pretty bad'?

I should've seen that one coming. But no, that's not what I meant, because I myself don't see it as a low standard. I get that you don't like those guys, and to you, Batista, Rey and others set a low standard, but to someone else, they may be setting a high standard. And to me, again, if Batista and Rey, two guys with very little character development can main event, then Kennedy, who is better in the ring, and better in terms of character depth can. I never said anything about the standard that he meets being low, I just said he meets the standard (whcih btw isn't as high as it once was, but not low enough to be considered poor). It's you who thinks the standard is low, lol.

Both Rey and Batista are far better in the ring than Kennedy, especially when Kennedy was wrestling as a face. He would still wrestle like a heel. One of Kennedy's biggest problems when he was a face was that he really doesn't have any crowd popping moves.

You talk about all 3 guys having little depth with their character, and while that might be true, the one major thing that separates Kennedy from Rey and Batista is size. On one hand you have Batista who is the big larger than life guy, and history has shown us that fans love guys like that. A major part of wrestling is making the audience believe that what they are seeing is real, or to fans that know it’s not real, at least give the impression that what they are watching could really happen, and in Batista’s case it’s so easy to buy him as a tough guy that could kick most people’s ass. Rey on the other hand benefits from there being basically no other little guys on the roster, so he's a very unique character. The mask also helps make him unique. When you look at Kennedy, there's really nothing special about him. He's pretty average size for a wrestler. So he needs more to his character than a Rey or Batista.

I can't believe we are still talking about Kennedy. The guy is done. At least his excuse can be the injuries and not his complete lack of talent.

Does anyone realise there's more than just Kennedy to talk about? Lol, how about MVP?
