i mean kinda, ya. i dont think the "scum wont even want to kill me part" means anything, but again the fact he didnt just claim the negative utility role means it isn't the same play. again claiming early in the game without being prodded at all just means people won't wagon you and your lynch/wagon is harder to build because youve already claimed.

a good scum player would replicate their town game to look town. the accusation is that it looks overly forced. he's doing the same thing he did to odo last game to me for the exact same reasoning and it went awful last game. he pushed odo based on his entrance, went nowhere, and pushed to have him lynched. that's pretty much exactly what he's doing to me except replace odo with my name. it doesn't look good because if you draw town again would you look to do the exact same thing that fucked you up the previous game?

Hmm yeah you might have a point here, perhaps him being this gung-ho about it is just his way of trying to reinvent his scum meta. Also him not ever backing down from any stance he has is something he always does as scum, he said as much in the scum QT from last game after he repped in.

Generally speaking, Poyser and you has some potential for a false dichotomy and I don't currently feel strongly enough about either of you guys to force myself into any sort of move.

yeah you're right but i specifically remember some post in the dead qt where he was particularly angry.

There’s a kind of comical hypocrisy to magics game where he is comfortable lecturing me for not working with people but the fundamental crux of a lot of his arguments is ‘I’m better than you’

i also work with people so i have no idea what any of this is about lol. i worked with people last game. i dont even know what ace's "not going to work with anyone" shit is about because after last game all i said is i dont want to play anymore.

the MAN knew i would say that which is why i had to say it.

i think ace is GOODGUYING me.

mostly because he's defending me in ways that aren't true so it looks like he's making it up to be on the right side of things. i dont think i started this game particularly aggressive and he got what i said wrong last game too. he was also the only person that really hesitated with all the pressure mounting on me in the first like 9 pages so it might have been to just stay off the wagon.

At the time I had some reservations cause why would Odo do setup/flavour spec that he usually despises, but by the time I'd completely read up he'd already caught Junk so by now it's completely meaningless.
