I'm not disagreeing about any of the mods, just pointing out that bitching about it apparently didn't do any good before, and will likely get the same result this time.
I think that the new mods are very well appointed. For the reasons you have stated above. I just think that having the mods involved in threads like this one and being seen condoning certain behavior is unbecoming and doesn't look good to new members. Any new people coming in will scroll through some of these threads and see those pictures.... but I get it is hell in a thread.

That seems like a cheap cop out, and not worthy of you. Apparently some of the moderators on this site prefer to turn the other cheek. Maybe I am a prude, but clicking in here and seeing sexual innuendo involving children, no matter that it is 'all in good fun' makes me glad that I don't come into this section very often. Maybe my expectations are just too high to expect the moderators of this site would actually have a little class.
Also I resent the implication that I do not have class. There is a time and place for everything and sometimes it is fun to wallow in your baser nature.

I disagree. I don't do cheap cop outs. I tried censoring the people on the forum before and it didn't work. Hell in a thread is what the name is, hell. While I don't condone the behavior, I don't see how in a section with no rules that there should be censorship or limitations. HIAT is where people can go be dickheads and assholes to each other, while some of it is all in good fun some can be in bad taste as well. We have a ignore button on the board for a reason.
I get this is the section to air issues you may have with other members. Apparently expecting things to be handled with any degree of maturity, that does not involve taking time out of your sad life to make pictures involving innocent people, is unrealistic.
Why not just make a picture involving the people you have issue with? If a picture needs to be made. I find it sad that things get taken to this personal of a level. Keep your attacks focused on who you have an issue with. Stooping to a level involving penis' and children obviously reveals your lack of legitimate complaint with someone. If you can't back up your dislike of someone with facts and instead rely on provoking them for a reaction, maybe it is time to turn your computer off and search for meaning in your life.

In your example it is fairly clear who the perpetrator is and while due diligence requires that all avenues be explored it is still reasonably obvious whom is perpetrating the acts in your example.
I can only speak for myself in this case but this is how it works for me. Humour always offends someone. So either everything is fair game for lampooning or nothing is. In this case nobody is being hurt. The pictures in question are not real and any ill feelings derived from viewing the picture are solely the responsibility of the viewer. Using myself as an example, someone could post the exact same picture with myself and a family member and I will not rage or even become upset over the photoshop as it is just that, a doctored picture. It is not real and I know this. If something in that vein was to bother me I would be forced to view it objectively and ask myself why it is really bothering me. In both instances in several of the threads here I think that there are other factors in play with the two aggrieved parties that go beyond a simple photoshopped picture.
I maintain and adhere to those standards in their respective places. In this particular section there are no standards therefore I have no standards to live up to.
