Actually tbf in my saves those two don't poach indies much, they just poach TCW and the major intentional companies of top stars so then the indies get affected. It's healthy to an extent but SWF can do a network and that gets them global too and having two of them kinda hurts the world

Yeah it def seems like the Cverse is a bit top-heavy and something tells me in the next update that something is going to give between USPW/TCW/CWA/SWF

It would make the most sense to have scandals affect SWF again and they die or are on the verge of death next update.

Also they could do the crazy one that happened to me in 2020 (which didn't actually hurt them business wise) where Emma Chase cheated on whatever brother of the owner/bookers she was married to with the other one....then less than a year later she cheated on that one with one of the wrestlers (I can't remember who, that Big Cat guy maybe) and both were gone from the company when their contracts ended

The first time was wild enough bc it was with the owner/booker and they were brothers lol then she did it again

But yeah it seems like in every game so far SWF drops down to medium so I actually think what'll happen is not that SWF dies but that they massively downsize and there ends up being a ton of free agent talent on the market in the next update.

I'm tired of the boring indies myself personally. I progressively give less and less fucks about MAW and NYCW. MAW has some redeeming factors at least. And then inevitably more of those respectful wrestling ROH clones open up during your games in like the Midwest and they're boring af too lol I'd probably cut NYCW and one of the hardcore feds, GSW or IPW most likely, IPW seems likelier there but I always liked them more.

RIPW also needs a major overhaul to be a real developmental, the way it's currently set for a CPU to run is terrible for developing talent. One save in 2020 I booked them for a bit and changed their schedule a ton, and then got on the SWF Network that had already been created. I had to limit to small size bc the drastic boom in popularity was too much for my talents skill set to meet quality requirements otherwise but man it helped a lot

That's actually a pretty good point. I think if any indies are going to get cut, it'll be MAW and NYCW. Not sure on GSW and IPW since I feel like they'd have a dedicated enough fanbase to keep going. CZCW and FCW will definitely keep chugging along, same with QWA.

If anything, I think PSW is in perfect position to rise up in popularity to Medium size (since they have TV and are already kind of a super-indy).

I also think ACPW will get a big boost too and finally get on TV, which would be nice.

In most of my 2020 saves they progress from wrestleworld to OnDem successfully and in the one I got to 2027 they were the third most popular company in the world. Others that made it on OnDem that also got very good international exposure while still being able to grow in their own region at a good pace were ACPW, Zen, APW (the Australian one) and I wanna say one of the Mexican indies got on it right towards the last time I played. PSW I think could have but is loyal to wrestleworld and extremely popular in the US across the whole country too

Good news, so the lowest my company was in debt was 25k in May 2023, as of June 3, 2024, Midwest Championship Wrestling is no longer in debt.

The next step is to get to around 30 pop so I can improve my production values.
