Just bout done with first month of booking of AWA 1989:
Austin & Orndorff are extremely over rn and hot. I have given Austin 2 finishers Stun Gun & Reverse Indian Death Lock.
Funny enough I got two rising stars as the most over angle of the year or segment is from the newly turn babyface on their own Marcus Bagwell & Scotty Riggs American Males !
Matt Bourne got hurt, so the semi ECW version of Doink I was starting is getting held back another month.
Arn Anderson & Chris Benoit formed a friendship so I started that on TV.
Mr. Bob Backlund is currently running a 5 Min TV Championship open challenge!
I turned the Midnight Rockers heel, HBK was acting like he was gonna break up with Marty used that too get them to beat Harlem Heat. They are now feuding with Terry Funk.
Kerry Von Erich full fledged heel now too, aligning with Col. Robert Fuller facing off with Mean Mark.
Lawler facing Mike Awesome
Eddie Guerrero might show signs of becoming bit more Lie, Cheat, Stealing vs. Mr. Bob Backlund
Vader vs. Brody in the works
Dustin Rhodes as "The American Tragedy" is starting to kick into high gear hes coming more unhinged and anti social.
Slaughter & Big Bubba Rodgers offcially form Law & Order tag team facing the Savage Suns Fatu & Yokozuna.

Is it just me or is the Cverse still lacking in a lot of mid-tier talent for potential medium size companies?

Mexico and Europe (shockingly maybe for this one) aren't but the rest kinda. Australia is lacking young mid card tier talent that fucks them up after a few years too when all the old fucks retire tho

I've just been thinking of making a company that's slightly smaller than TCW, but I'd have to move a shit ton of talent from the Big 3 to it because there's like no quality talent above 50 Pop that isn't signed to a bigger company or is over 45.

For American companies I would recommend poaching international guys early af. Their popularity has to be built up but they'll have the skills you need already and it helps a ton with your own younger talent.

Just talk to any worker not signed exclusively anywhere and ask if they'd be willing to work in America, almost all says sure. Then after a couple bookings ask if they'll MOVE to America (specifically your region) and boom no travel costs

The American scene is not really in a place to sustain anything bigger than like GCW and IPW at the atart I think tbh especially with the lower tier indies usually expanding fairly well at the start too

Yeah it's really just unfortunate.

On the plus side, my RTG company has actually gone very well and went from 0 pop to Tiny size in just over a year, and is now turning a profit, by the end of the year my company should actually be out of debt!

Lol I was literally just about to ask if you attempted a new one yet, I have one started but just have one show down so far bc I fucked up and picked an owner that wants too much money and he gave himself a raise after our first show from $100 per show to $18k so that's an RIP
