FIP INFO
Notable things that happened this year would primarily be the revival of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup and adding YouTube Red North America and Japan as broadcasters for our events, in addition to broadcasting on our World Wrestling Network.
I also revamped my championships, replacing the FIP World Heavyweight Championship with the FIP Undisputed Championship, as well as renaming the FIP Florida Heritage Championship to simply the FIP Heritage Championship.
We also moved up to ‘Small’ size. I pillaged WWC and W-1, who were both in a bit of debt, just to absorb their popularities in Puerto Rico and Japan. So we’re growing pretty well, having moved up to the 13th biggest company in the world, and the 6th in the US… 5th if you don’t count NXT.
I’ve managed to foster a really positive backstage environment, forming several strong friendships among the roster and gaining the loyalty of multiple wrestlers, including: AR Fox, Eddie Kingston, Uhaa Nation, QT Marshall, Joey Janela, Shane Strickland, Santana and Ortiz.
I’ve started to kinda earmark wrestlers that I want to possibly give written deals as I’m expecting to be battling it out with ROH and EVOLVE sooner than later, the way things are heading.
