One time I was gonna try and make a TEW save with us in it. Not e-fed characters, but actual members lol it was gonna be in an irl mod where we'd be like commentators and stuff

that is also very cool. For me it was more of a btb concept as a potential way to continue that efed. just pick a character and watch their stories unfold

One thing I've noticed in this Cverse sim save midway through 2024 is that American indies are starting to sign people to exclusive contracts due to their size and finance increases with their broadcasting deals paying off after a few years and I'm excited to see how that results in changes since so many people were working 2-3 companies at a high level. One particularly interesting case is GSW beat CZCW in signing a lot of their mutuals to exclusive contracts which was a little shocking bc CZCW is much more popular (actually 3rd in the world atm due to their OnDem deal that broadcasts globally), but GSW is quickly locking down a really strong roster as they're growing and putting on much better shows than before.

The wrestling world is doing unrealistically amazing rn lol other than the big Canadian company closing which left a huge void there, so many are putting on huge crowds compared to where they started. Some US, Mexico and Japan indies getting 30k attendances. The Europe scene has also been kinda cool to watch but it's growing insanely slow lol still the 3 main promotions are all in a better start than 2020

I can relate. And probably because I'm pretty sure Bug Papa used the Tverse as the template to get his database well- balanced But like, EVOLVE's monthly events are starting to be held at MSG and shit Lots of companies/regions thriving. Mexico is the main place that doesn't really have enough companies to really support the amount of talent in the area, especially with AAA on the verge of closing.

Yeah Canada got fucked in this save when CWA closed bc the other company which capitalized on it, ACPW....only employs junior heavyweights and women lol I thought the big name heavyweights would get picked up by some of the American big 3s but very few did, so they're just putting on some of the highest rated matches on independent shows I've ever seen the game generate lmao

As I was posting about in the chatbox yesterday, Tony Nese has been on an absolute tear in this TEW game, signing with TNA and winning both the X Division and World Championship with a year

Now another hilarious ass development in TNA... it's mid 2016 and Dixie has been removed from CEO (assuming this is built in to mirror real life) but rather than Billy Corgan taking her place it's none other than fellow carny Court Bauer who is now CEO of TNA

Thinking of running a company in the 1992 based in Texas with Terry Funk as the owner. Anybody got any good name suggestions for me? I'm going for a kind of classic World Class product, something between Hokey Southern Wrestling Classic Southern Wrestling, or any Hardcore Product.

Sounds like a fun company idea to run, I have a save in a 92 database somewhere and early 90s is so volatile and fun. As for a name idk I'm so bad at thinking of them but to not be completely useless I'd try and avoid anything "regional" in the name like "Texas" or "Southern" just bc at that time I think most people would have been turned off by anything that isn't more nationally branded, like how Mid-South became universal. On the flip side, if Funk was essentially trying to cater to the more old school fans that don't like the national WWF, he could not feel that way lol

Yeah I'm basically thinking of having a company run by Dory and Terry based in Texas, but it's a more regional promotion first, getting bigger over time with local talent. I know for certain Booker T and Stevie Ray are gonna be some of my first hires, same with Steve Austin too if he's available, maybe Cactus Jack.
