I advanced through this Ryback/Cena story too quickly and did the segment that I should have saved for the go-home show, on the week before the go-home show. :lol

So, I did Extreme Rules the same way they did in real life essentially. That included Ryback spearing Cena through the stage and Cena needing to be taken out on a stretcher, but refusing to go to the hospital. Rather than do an Ambulance Match for some reason I decided I'd book a stretcher match. I then Ryback strap Cena to a stretcher and throw him off the stage. So, Cena is injured obviously, and to prevent any further issues, Ryback and Cena were banned from the arena for Raw. They had a video confrontation where Ryback said he was looking to end Cena's career.

And that was all leading up to now, which is the go-home show. Now, since I feel the need to escalate things once more, my idea was to do one of those ongoing promos throughout the show type things. My idea was for Ryback to host this mock funeral for Cena's career with a bunch of plants in attendance wearing Cena gear and what not. There would be a couple of these segments where Ryback is just shitting on Cena and what not, and in the final segment of the night, Cena would actually show up and attack Ryback at the graveyard (I'm imagining it being a scenario where he basically blends in with all the plants). My only concern with this angle is that it maybe betrays the stretcher match stipulation.

Am I overthinking it? And if not, would it be crazy to change the stipulation the week of the PPV to make it like a Last Ride match instead of a stretcher match? :lol
Honestly, I say to roll with it, it could be a fun segment and way to do it, and you don’t really I guess have to change the match. But being a funeral segment I can see why you want to pull a switcharoo for it. So I mean hell if you think it would get the buys! I say change the match, but I honestly wouldn’t worry about changing it.

I'd have Ryback mock Cena through out the show than show up at the hospital to end it. Lookin' for Cena, laughin, smilin', lookin' like an idiot then the receptionist tells him... yeah uh... he's been released only for Cena to blindside him as cameras go dark for the show.

Okay, I like that idea a lot. Only problem is I've never referenced Cena actually being IN THE HOSPITAL throughout this thing. :hmm: Damn, I'm going to have to figure a way to incorporate this though, I think,

So in working on my new project known as Flashpoint: The Hogan Effect, we have a new 1991 in which Hogan stays in the AWA through the 80s, MSW gets the Turner timeslot over JCP, and certain folks don't die due specifically to these happenings. So in this 1991, I give you the top 10 projected stars of each company:

AWA:
- Curt Hennig
- Jerry Lawler
- Larry Zbyszko
- Stan Hansen
- Rick Rude
- Sgt. Slaughter
- Wahoo McDaniel
- Tully Blanchard
- King Kong Bundy
- Scott Hall

WWF:

- Hulk Hogan
- Ultimate Warrior
- Randy Savage
- Andre the Giant
- Kerry Von Erich
- Jake Roberts
- The Undertaker
- Bret Hart
- Honky Tonk Man
- Tito Santana

MSW/WCW:

- Ted DiBiase
- Steve Williams
- Ron Simmons
- Paul Orndorff
- Bruiser Brody
- Terry Gordy
- Terry Taylor
- Bam Bam Bigelow
- Greg Valentine
- One Man Gang

NWA on FOX:

- Sting
- Ric Flair
- Ricky Steamboat
- Lex Luger
- Arn Anderson
- Nikita Koloff
- Bobby Eaton
- Stan Lane
- Barry Windham
- Sid Vicious

I need opinions on these rosters at the top and whether or not they'd be solid enough to compete against one another for a time.

Trying a WWE current day save and... wow. I had to give a lot of bonuses to fix the bad morale from the releases. Also I fired Taker, Kane, and Goldberg for budget reasons (I didn't intend to use them) then Brock Lesnar got fired for getting popped for steroids twice in a week. Same with Matt Riddle and weed.

So now, the field's going to open up. I call up NXT guys when they ask/when there's a firing that causes a hole in my roster, and replace them with someone from my shiny hundreds-strong shortlist.

Playing as Impact, with Sami Callihan as my avatar, in the highly suspect TheWho87 mod. Just finished my first Impact Plus special and now we're headed towards the first proper PPV, Hard To Kill.

My goal mostly is to establish a new identity for Impact. You won't see many (if any) AEW crossovers here. We're going to add some free agents and work on building up some talents that they have that I think they should be focusing more on, rather than people from other companies and WWE midcarders. But it'll be a gradual process, so hopefully I can get to where I want to be after a while.

Felt like booking a long match on free TV involving Bryan Danielson for tonight - it paid off as this is +14 on any of my previous matches
