As someone else said, Africans have used each other as slaves for centuries, and in some areas that's a tradition that continues today in some form or another. If you look at history, every developing country makes heavy use of what can be considered slave labor. In China and India, you have people working 12 hours a day for cents on the dollar. Sure, they're paid, but I'd call that a form of slavery because realistically, they have no rights as workers so take your ignorant "America was built by slaves" argument and shove it, because by that logic I can say every industrialized nation in the world was built by slaves. Look at how the feudal system worked in Europe for centuries and tell me that whites weren't enslaving whites. This just proves that guns aren't needed to commit a brutal and senseless murder, and in fact, I'd rather be shot dead than die the way this man did. Guns aren't the issue. I've not read anything in this thread than the post directly above mine. I've heard the whole thing about Canada and not locking their doors when their at home. I never lock my doors when I'm at home and I live in America so I don't get that whole thing one bit. I do not live in a constant fear of someone robbing me at gunpoint. I've lived in Columbus Ohio and I've lived in mulitiple rural ohio towns and not once have I locked my door when I'm at home. Usually don't lock it if I'm asleep in my home.
