PPV was a waste of time.

One thing was made extremely clear tonight. WWE's eye is on Miz, Morrison, Sheamus, Drew and Kofi big time.

Miz's team looked fucking amazing. And they did a great job of making Morrison look good even with the loss.

DX/Cena was a solid match.

That's about it... it was what I expected it to be.

Great One

Don't forget, Christian came out REAL strong in that too. He had Orton cleanly pinned and beaten... which is VERY good. DX/Cena match was AWESOME, too bad the outcome =(. Also no Jericho walking away with title was gay too.

So if you can praise it so well, how was it a waste of time? Not trying to be a smart ass, at all, just curious how it was a waste of time? It was a very entertaining show with some really good matches and most of all, everything was done right. It sounds like you were just disappointed that there wasn't a huge surprise or shocking ending, but that rarely happens anyways these days.

I said before for the heel Tista to work he had to absolutely destroy Rey and man was that fucking awesome or what? It's about time they have a real heel and not another pussy, chickenshit heel molded after Edge/Jericho. It was even more awesome that he was being cheered! But wasn't the show in his hometown?

The opening match was good, and it was perfect to have the three guys who can and may well be your top heels for the next ten-fifteen years look as strong as they did, especially Sheamus. On a side note, I really hate Morrison as a face, everything about him screams heel, he's too flamboyant to be a face, plus he isn't very over unless he hits a spot. He just seems like a metrosexual with some cheesy insults that has a couple of nice spots. He needs to be flipped. Other than that, good match with alot of progress towards making new stars.

The Kofi-Orton match was awesome. Kofi made his first steps towards being a big deal. Christian looked strong, Punk had good interactions with he and Kofi, R Truth showed how over he can be and everyone else was good. Kofi-Orton isn't over, and if they continue doing things right Kofi can be a bonafide maineventer. More progress towards making new stars.

The title matches were really good and thankfully we didn't have to be subjected to another pointless title change in either. Both teams being dysfunctional was done quite nicely, especially with HBK and HHH, fuck was that superkick to begin the match unexpected and awesome or what?

This show did so much to try and elevate new faces, kept the title picture clean, threw wrenches into the two top teams in the company and every match was good, with only the divas being uninteresting to me. This show stayed on a very solidly paved course and the E should be commended for stepping up the young talent initiative.

What did I praise?... I said I enjoyed 2 things. Other than that it didn't really do much for me.

I think even the majority of the fans seems to be ready to get some new blood in there.

Because Heeltista 2009 is so much better than Heel Edge and Heel Jericho

Jericho got robbed IMO

^Agreed on the first part.

This wasn't the right place for Jericho to win the title though. I'd much rather see him pick it up in a solid singles match. Their match was horrible tonight...well the parts involving Show anyway.

Well, what did you expect from the show? The matches were good, we got the new talent elevated and they set things for tomorrow night.

You wanted title changes? Yeah, in Jericho's case it would have been fine, I mean, the fact that it would have been Jericho would justify all of us being hipocrites and all of a sudden not mattering the champion dropping the belt after 2 PPVs.

Miz, drew, Seamus looked fucking awesome and you could see 3 good ME heels in the making. Drew's Finisher is awesome although I'm surprised he is allowed 2 use it with it been so much like the pedigree Trips must have gave it the go ahead. Cos Punk cant use the Pepsi plunge. Anyhoo them three looked awesome. Kofi got elevated and put over in a big way he looked wicked. And christian looked awesome too and we got some rapping as well;). Both the elimination matches were good.

Taker/Jericho/Show at points this match bored me mainly down to Big Show lumbering around the ring. Taker IMO looked pretty good last night he was moving fine and best Ive seen him move in awhile it wasn't a great match but it was good

HHH/HBK/Cena ooooooh man this match IMO rocked big time. 1st we get a wicked SCM from HBK on HHH to open the match which just made me sit bolt upright from my half asleep state as it was nearly 4am. That was it i was wide awake thinking what the fuck just happened. Are we getting a Heel HBK. Maybe it was a tester see if he would get heat. I dont think he will turn My money is on trips but not for awhile yet. HBK/Cena went at it for what seemed like ages while Trips was out cold from SCM. Then when Trips finally does get up he saves HBK from Attitude adjust on the announce table only to Spine bust HBK through it himself. It was great back an fourth action HHH/HBK going at it with each other was wicked. And to be fair Trips took most of the crap from HBK and Cena and he also took the pin too. HBK and Cena both went over trips for the majority of the match. Don't get me wrong he hit his Sig and finishing moves it just seem that he took a bit more of a back seat To HBK/Cena. Which isn't a bad thing.

I enjoyed most of the PPV mainly the HHH/HBK/Cena match.

PS what is just me or was the crowd pro heel. Heels seemed to get cheered all night.

Crowd was extremely pro heel last night, especially for their home town boy Batista (which was funny because that was supposed to solidify his heel turn). There are a few places which are very pro heel. New York being the main one. I suppose we can add D.C. to the list as well.

They didn't do much teasing of tension between DX last night. Both just acted as if they were facing any other opponent and it seemed completely mutual. I wouldn't be shocked to see them cracking jokes about it all night on RAW tonight.

I think the tension between DX will start creeping in later on down the line maybe towards the end of the year the odd teasing of tensions here and there. I think they will build on it slowly and stretch it out over a lengthy period. But i wish they would hurry up with it i just want Trips heel already purely for selfish reason lol. Yeah i agree that DX will be straight back to there wise cracking selves tonight like it was all in a night work and they are totally sound as a team.

1- Jericho was dancing his male boobs pre-match. What was he trying to do? make them look more fit/muscular? :smh

2- Rey beaten down in that fashion was a masterpiece :D Good job BATISTA.

3- No title change at Survivor Series is just never happend before I think.

4- Cena winning pissed the fans lol. Yeah ORANGE CENA now! >_> pfff.

5- Kofi pinning Punk then Orton was just way too much for my likings.

Overall, good PPV imo.

I don't think you understand what I meant. I never said he was better, but his heel character is far fresher. Basically all of the WWE's top heels over the past five years have been molded after the chickenshit heel role that Edge and Jericho have perfected so well. If you look back at the course of history the best heels have always been badasses. The Horsemen, nWo, Nikita Koloff, Andre all instilled fear into the audience since they beat the fuck outta people, not running around and hiding behind skirts and lawyers and all the nonsense the WWE has their heels doing. What's the point of having a bad guy if the face is a bigger bad ass and the fans have been trained to accept the fact that Undertaker, HHH, and Cena can just go and beat the shit out of whomever they are facing since they are booked to be the bad asses. Thats a huge reason why the product is stale.
Faces are booked too strong in the E and the monster heel is something that is truly lacking. Kane and Umaga don't count, they were jobbers to the stars more than anything, but Tista as a sick heel is the freshest heel they've had in 5 years.

^If they can keep up his beastly momentum I'll agree to some degree. I think CM Punk also broke the mold a bit. He had a different shtick to go on and has up to this point been a fighting heel. True, not a beast heel like Batista, but not chicken shit.
If they keep riding the momentum Batista has and make him look even more dominant as a heel than they did as a face then it could work out great. Let's not have him ducking Taker in 2 weeks now.

Not a bad PPV, not great though either. Opening match was good but they really showed what they think of Dolph, eliminated first before Bourne, Finlay, Hardy and Drew, really pissed me off. I thought they could have had Morrison eliminate Drew before losing, Drew doesnt deserve to survive, heels dominated there.

Team Kofi Vs Team Orton was pretty good too, they made ortons team look good by getting quick eliminations but then also made them look like crap at the end, the only guy that looked good of there team was Punk, only just got eliminated, went decent throughout the match, the rest got owned and even though Orton got a quick elimination and whatnot he got raped by Kofi at the end. This match made Kofi look like god whick sucks because so many others deserve his push, also Christian went really well, the only offence Rhodes really got was on Christian, the others probably wouldnt take it cause it would make em look bad, Christian nearly pinning Orton was awesome too.

Highlight of the PPV was definitely Team Kofi's promo, Christian rapping ftw!
