Survivor Series 2009

Survivor Series felt like a one match PPV to me, other than the main event, everything else was just...meh.

However, I still enjoyed the PPV and would not have been pissed if I ordered it. Triple H/Cena/HBK was a very solid match that could arguably go down as a MOTY contender. The emotion, the storytelling, it was great.

Not the best Survivor Series in history, but definitely not the worst

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this PPV...

Firstly, I was pleased to see that many young guys getting PPV exposure.

Though not stellar in general, I enjoyed the elimination matches and thought HBK & Jericho were the bomb. Jericho overhearing crowds jeers and responding "I'm from Wenepeg, you idiot!" mid-action.... The guy is genius! HBKs SCM on HHH was funny as fuck (as was Strikers reaction!) and left me totally fiending for a heel HBK, but it’s also a cool way to actually AVOID an untimely split (lets split Jeri-Show first) if they choose.... All HBK has to do say to ‘H is “look I did the best thing for both of us given our predicament... To allow us both to challenge for the title without inner-conflict”

Lastly, tell me how sweet it was to have Striker do an entire PPV...???? He made the other two seem redundant - In particular Cole (who was just spluttering half sentences not knowing what to follow Striker’s comments with; eventually resulting to mocking Striker and was subsequently made to sound foolish!).

...And I’ll say again, no-one commentates on Regal like Striker does.

^To the heel hbk think, I have to agree. I think we all would see a heel HHH coming but a Heel HBK, that brings something fresh to the table

Definitely agree about Matt Striker, he made that PPV just that little bit better, much better then the others, Cole was horrible, even moreso with Striker around.
