Rock/Orton holds no appeal to me at all, Cena/Taker is best saved for XXX and while Punk/Austin is great on paper, I just don't see Austin wrestling another match. I also don't know if I'd really want to at this point.

I don't think they could get away with announcing Rock/Cena a year ahead two years running :

They could have Cena lay down a challenge to Taker though. Say he wins at WM, on Raw the next night he then says he wants the streak and challenges Taker. Taker can accept a few months later, but the tease is there.

I think we're also forgeting the potential of Brock Lesnar wrestling next year. That's another easy big match scenario with the right opponent.

If Cena wins he can say now that he's beat the rock he wants to focus on a new challenge. He can say people have beaten the rock at WrestleMania before but no one has ever beat undertaker at WrestleMania before.

The only person Taker has not faced when it comes to his streak from the Attitude era is Steve. Steve Austin is, imo, the best choice for that. Honestly I was looking to see Steve end it this year, but he turned it down. Thats why HHH is again in the hot seat. Mick is too old and has lost to Taker before at WM. Rock could do it, but thats a path I do not believe WWE wants to travel. Rock still has alot of years left in him, Taker doesnt. If they push the streak past this years WM, the only person to take it down would be SCSA.
