Im kinda guessing the timeline, but she pulled out of Arena Mexico Saturday, was at Heatwave Sunday, so it feels very much like a rushed deal for lack of a better term (rushed doesn't mean bad here it could go either way). And I'm assuming she went to Heatwave with the intention of negotiating the finer points of a deal, not negotiating for one to exist

Yeah I said earlier the first I'd heard of WWE being interested was after the Giulia match in like March.

I'm picturing a mad dash of negotiating by both of them for her in my head once they realized CMLL contracts are apparently optional for talent

Cause that's still the craziest story for me, how worthless are these CMLL contracts and are they mostly only enforced by them in spirit bc they're so big and the alternative if you don't make international waves are AAA?

That's how it was for AAA forever too tbh, I hope it doesn't have CMLL mad and rethinking letting people work the states bc they're scared about it

I wouldn't be too surprised if they have the mentality of "yes we'll let you go and you'll come crawling back in a few years when it doesn't work out" kinda like Mistico did but that's very out of date now

Considering you mentioned they saw her in a match before fd n she's possibly been scouted for a minute , maybe that's the case n talks have been going on longer than reported. Agreex they wouldn't tweet this without plans

I think the news kinda got swept away when her CMLL contract length was out as being a story for a later time but clearly no one actually knows how CMLL contracts work lol
