Going way back to like page 2 what you said, maybe they do have instant plans for her in NXT then? I mean Shawn outright tweeting kinda confirms she'll be in without much of a grace period to learn the PC (not that she needs it, moving probably the biggest hassle here). Kinda shocks me but Roxanne needs another challenger tho and her thing is kinda wrestling anyone. What a match if they do it right off the bar
I was just thinking this. Rox and Stephanie for GAB would be a great way to make a splash immediately.

Have Ava once again just announce it and Rox says fuck it. I’ll take on anyone.

Im kinda guessing the timeline, but she pulled out of Arena Mexico Saturday, was at Heatwave Sunday, so it feels very much like a rushed deal for lack of a better term (rushed doesn't mean bad here it could go either way). And I'm assuming she went to Heatwave with the intention of negotiating the finer points of a deal, not negotiating for one to exist

This would also explain why Rox won and with such vigor. If they’re setting her up with an insane next program with her debut.

Maybe it was in that thread I posted but I believe it said they've been watching her a while, think it was the... Giulia match that sold them then they moved in after her AEW match.

Yeah I said earlier the first I'd heard of WWE being interested was after the Giulia match in like March.

I'm picturing a mad dash of negotiating by both of them for her in my head once they realized CMLL contracts are apparently optional for talent :lol

Cause that's still the craziest story for me, how worthless are these CMLL contracts and are they mostly only enforced by them in spirit bc they're so big and the alternative if you don't make international waves are AAA?

Pretty wild to think about. Seems like cMLL sending people to AEW and MLW is like sending your cow to be milked in the lion’s den and hoping it returns to you.

That's how it was for AAA forever too tbh, I hope it doesn't have CMLL mad and rethinking letting people work the states bc they're scared about it

My guess is cMLL mostly wants to lock talent down in Mexico and away from AAA and others, but figured if there’s an out for leaving the country they’ll be more inclined to sign.

I wouldn't be too surprised if they have the mentality of "yes we'll let you go and you'll come crawling back in a few years when it doesn't work out" kinda like Mistico did but that's very out of date now

Considering you mentioned they saw her in a match before fd n she's possibly been scouted for a minute , maybe that's the case n talks have been going on longer than reported. Agreex they wouldn't tweet this without plans

I think the news kinda got swept away when her CMLL contract length was out as being a story for a later time but clearly no one actually knows how CMLL contracts work lol
