Don't be so sure, it took me about a month playing 8-10 hours a day. It's worth it though and if you follow the story you won't want to stop playing.

Hopefully i can pick up on friday, it sounded like a interesting game when it first came out but was put off by the monthly subscription. Kind of the same thing happened with World of Warcraft, played until Cataclysm came out then just gave up on it. Plus the community on there arent very friendly at times( unless you are big into Role playing servers or like being raged at for a single mistake)

This community is very helpful. All you have to do is shout and someone will come help you at any point. They are cool about that stuff, and the montly subscription allows you to have a lot of cool stuff but not needed. I stopped playing so canceled mine, but if we can get enough i'll start her back on up.

As soon as you start, let me know what side you are on. I can come help you if you need it, since I mostly stick around the beginner planets and help the new players. And yeah the community is friendly, everybody treats each other fairly from what I've seen so far.

I'm on both dark and light sides actually. I have a level 10 Bounty Hunter Powertech I use at sometimes, but my main is a Jeri Consular Sage. So I just sit back and hurl rocks and heal everybody

But that's just a preference, there is no advantage either way, it's just up to if you like being a bad guy or a good guy. Hell you can even be a dark jedi, or a good sith.

The worse you are as a sith, the more your face turns into a veiny penis though, which I don't like.

I think Sorcerer is the most interesting dark side class. Not only are you more focused on force power and ways to kill/torture but you also get the Darth title.

you will probably level pretty quickly then, as the setup in a lot of ways is similar to wow (action bars etc)
