I dont see Edge/Jericho happening cause Edge did an interview last week or the week on Bubba The Love Sponge and he said he cant even train right now and is being told he has like 6 more months of rehab

WWE pays their superstars to say what they (WWE) wants them to say.

ITS JUST LIKE THE GOVERNMENT. WWE CONTROLS THEIR LIVES!!!

Edge is probably ready to go right now.

Remember Cena saying he was going to be out for ages only to return at the Rumble last year?

This actually might lead to Bret Hart being the guy retiring HBK (what comes around goes around!) lol :p

From said interview :
Edge was asked about rehab and return and says he doesn't know when he will be back. The doctors told him 6 months to a year. He said when he heard six month, he thinks six months, but he said he has to see Andrews and get in a ring to see how it holds up. When he tests it he will see where he is at. He said that he is gunning for the first quarter of the year.
I think he meant from the original date of injury, not from the date of the interview. Says he is aiming for the first quad of 2010, which is perfect for WM.

People shouldn't get too excited about a Bret/Vince match. Word coming from the Observer is a Bret led Hart Dynasty vs. some hand picked Vince goons, like Legacy or something. They are shooting for a WM moment with Bret punching out Vince and slapping him in the sharpshooter. They say he can't really work a match because A. he physically can't with the stroke and all, B. he will be guilty of insurance fraud if he does as he cashed in a huge claim sometime back since he was unable to make a living in his profession not being able to wrestle and whatnot.

HIAC between the two would have the possibility of topping the last match, but would also have the possibility of sucking shit.

They had the first HIAC, and IMO, I think it is still the best HIAC to date. I don't think they'd go that route, especially since HIAC is it's own PPV. I don't think they'd go casket match either, they did that and it forced Shawn into early retirement. I don't know what they could really do to top last year, but whatever they do, I imagine it would not suck shit, HBK @ WM wouldn't let that happen. Plus Taker is awesomeness too. There's a reason they had the best match of 09 with the most heat I've seen in a WWE match since Rock/Austin were top dogs.

^team Hart vs team Vince sounds more fitting, I wasn't really expecting Bret to wrestle again. good point with the insurance thing too. the highlight really would be Hart in pink and black again, and kicking the crap out of McMahon.

I wanted to see HHH/HBK too, but I guess that'll be for the next big PPV with both staying face for now. maybe HHH will be the Rumble winner to setup the feud, without a whole DX split. IDK what else they could do for HBK/Taker though. most of the Undertaker's storylines are similar, but hopefully they can get HBK's jealousy or whatever pushed more than the Undertaker supernatural stuff.

If you look at the time frame that Bret's contract expires, which is about 1-2 weeks after WM-26, this is what I think is definitely going to happen or have strong possibilities to occur.

1. HBK is definitely going to do the unthinkable based on what Vince alluded to last night and turn on Vince and not as he thinks and apologize or something to that sort on LIVE TV. Sure that is not a huge thing to us, but it will and sounds as if from the looks of it like that is the direction they are going. Also, Bret I am sure is going to address Vince about his comments from this week and all that goes along with that. Vince I am sure is going to set up an angle where Bret looks like he is getting screwed to some degree again with HBK involved. Ultimately, this will end up somewhere with HBK out of the way and Bret getting a match and beating the utter crap out of Vince at Wrestlemania 26 in a lopsided match. This would also be the safest way to go for Bret and Vince can still take it to some degree as possibly his last match as well. Speaking of which, Bret may be also used as the "official" way to end Vince's wrestling career.

2. HBK is going to somehow have a role in the Bret drama, but IMO, not fully. I think he will be used as a tool to some degree, but Bret already stated some time ago when it was rumored of his return that he if anything did not want to be anywhere near HBK period. Sure they may have tried to patch things up beyond our knowledge, but still, I do not think money or time yet has healed that wound fully or as much as we are thinking. Thus, this will eventually lead to HBK and the Undertaker in their long awaited rematch versus an HBK vs. Bret rematch which is not going to happen and if by chance it did, look for a rather light dishing of punishment on Bret from HBK and somehow HBK losing to Bret or even by way of Vince trying to throw the match. But again, I don't think this will be the match at WM 26 versus some ohter time before then. Heck, they could even have Bret do something with him as "finishing business" if you will at Backlash before Bret officially leaves and possibly even screwing Shawn Michaels out of the World Title that he wins from Undertaker. Maybe, maybe not...just a wild thought though of the possibility and one of getting back at HBK for those many years ago with the WWE title.

3. I love how WWE shaped up their Jan. 4th show based from this one. They did it so well and in a way that is good actually for them. This is if nothing else, what a surging TNA can do for the business of wrestling. Sure, if TNA does not truely ever compete with them, fine. But even still, TNA trying to compete with them is at least making WWE "THINK" better about how they conduct their shows. Again if nothing else, TNA is already making WWE's prodcut better just with the mere thought of even them trying to make them think. TNA might not do what they are trying to do any time soon, but they are making them increase their product even if it is PG. Sure their may not be any blood, but I can take major bumps even if they just look like major bumps like the one Orton gave to Kofi on that poll. That is what TNA is doing and again, this is also why WWE's PPV, especially Wrestlemania might be better and one for the ages because of a direct move on the part of TNA.

I'm still not entirely sold on the Taker/Michaels II Match. Actually from hearing rumors of HHH/Sheamus I think a Taker/Sheamus Match is one that could be done right possibly even better than HHH/Sheamus. They always seem to want Taker to go through the monster that has jumped on the scene so why not with Sheamus? It seems like they would have good chemistry together so why not see what they can do.

I do want Jericho/Edge but not if it is done wrong. If Edge has only a month to build it up, don't do it. Bring him back to TV around Feb. even if he isn't healed to promo it up. Can he even walk now? It sucks not truly knowing the extent of the injury as of now but we will all just have to wait and see.

What if Vince gets behind HBK and Bret gets behind Undertaker? Mesh these two storylines together. Could be a possibility.
Have the Hart Dynasty represent Bret at this point wouldn't work, they look nowhere near strong enough yet.

I read somewhere that when Edge and Eve went to Australia to that Award Ceremony thing, Edge even ran on stage so...

Was actually about to post that. I think it'd be cool to have the co-main event be The Hart Dynasty against Vince's team of young guys. They have from now until Wrestlemania to build up the two teams and/or have Vince put together his team while they're pushing the Dynasty.
