The thing that makes them look especially foolish is Punk IS STILL ON THEIR TELEVISION SCREENS and I know I don’t watch WWE, but he looks the happiest he’s been since returning.

Punk fans need to let it go. If you watch AEW give Hangman another shot and if you don’t, then stop talking about AEW.

I thought the ending was a unique and creative of way to finish a match tbh.

It kept Trick looking strong
It made Ethan even more slimy as a heel how he won
It made Shawn Spears his own worst enemy
The match itself showcased too how good Young OG is like Jesus that kid was doing shit like crazy.

I still disagree that Trick isn't ready I do think he is but him going chasing after Ethan isn't a bad few months too. I do think he's facing Spears at next event.

I think Ethan gonna face Oro at some point.

Oh, Shawn has definitely super kick somebody and they fell on someone else and they got the pin. So it could very well be a play on that but I think the added layer of spears holding trick makes it even better.

Chicago just loves their hometown boy and as long as they are getting him somewhere they realize there is no point to being rude to another promotion that you are paying tickets to see.

And I think they see what I do that punk is not only happier in WWE then he was most of his AEW run but let’s be honest at this stage of his career. He’s a better storyteller than he is a worker in the ring and WWE is just the right fit for that role as he is given several segments per television show and important spots on pay-per-view and not to mention he’s been injured since January and has appeared consistently throughout that injury and still been allowed to contribute to the product.
