As a punk fan, I can tell you I disagreed with the choices Hangman made that fateful day two years ago, but hanger is a phenomenal talent and anybody who can’t just let it go now that both sides are perfectly happy is being silly. Punk is in a much better spot for himself where he feels way more at Home. Let it go.

I do think there is some of that I actually think there’s far more heat on Jack Perry. Since the hangman thing was like two years ago at this point, but either way people just gotta move on.

I still wish hangman didn’t bring unrelated Dirt Sheet Rumors into a promo for the main event of the world title, but I mean hangman is a fucking gifted athlete, and I’ve liked him for years before that, and his rise to the title was one of my favorite things in AEW and I got to be there personally witness him winning the title. So I’m not gonna turn my back on him over one regrettable choice during a promo in May 2022. And the thing is that man is still working on his craft. This new heel character is showing some new evolution to his already impressive repertoire. I can’t wait.

This we’ll definitely have to disagree on. Don’t think holding a grudge over one thing is healthy, but those were bad choices they made, in my opinion.

And I’m gonna reiterate it just in case anybody misinterprets me punk shouldn’t have reacted the way he did either once those choices were made.
