You must have a poor memory

:heston

There's no dispute that WWE are the biggest in the business, they are the great white of wrestling for sure but calling AEW a small pond is just hilariously untrue for a multitude of reasons, not limited to the fact that the owner has more money than Vince, they're awarding the same level of contracts to their top stars as WWE are and they're consistently hitting 600-750k viewers every week.

Nonsensical, really.
600-750k viewers isn’t a success. For either company. Especially when you consider being on a major network in a prime time spot.

Especially considering TNA drew more with less money back then too.

They are also far less wrestling fans now. Which you can see by the fact even WWE Numbers dropped.

If NXT and AEW was on different nights both would have over a million viewers.

No they won't

Dynamites first show had a million and plus viewers.

Obviously they didn't like what they saw and it's down to the hardcore audience who watch both.

This shit is as niche as fuck.

They would because some people watch both, but only count for one. So believe me they would both get over a million if they wasn’t on at the same time.

Nice change of subject. I guess you know I’m right so you rather avoid admitting you’re wrong.

a: Cord cutting has disrupted historical viewing methods and means that there are fewer people watching anything on generations old tech/recording what they watch via conventional/historical modeling. I wonder how these ratings account for WWE Network Raw views on delay or New Japan PPV watches on Daily Motion?

b: Americans have some how "politicised" wrestling in the same way they've "politicised" wearing masks which is essentially just some sort of misguided tribalism - tribe "a" slag off what tribe "b" watches or does and vice versa, which means that those that aren't watching who are subject to either of these nonsensical points of view are turned off from the entertainment medium as a whole.

For as much as some people believe that they're highlighting the fall of profesional wrestling, what they're actually doing is contributing to the fall of professional wrestling which is bizzare given that for them to be talking about it, they must have an interest in it or gain some sort of entertainment value from it.

Right about what? Shit I said before this company had its first TNT show?

Told y'all this would just split the audience and wouldn't be this boom period like everyone....including you were openly wanting to happen and actually predicting.

Look in the archives bud.....time always vindicates what I say.

You just said they wouldn’t get a million if they was on different nights. When they clearly would since they do split audiences.

I was wrong back then. Since how easy it is to admit to it?

Audience who tuned in the first show....never came back.

Clear and concise......they didn't like what they saw.

Or they like NXT more? So they watch it first and then watch AEW. Hints if NXT was on one night and AEW another, they could get over a million. How hard is that to understand?

You are correct with the political stuff turning fans away. I just ran a 10K so I am going to bed. Will elaborate further in the morning.
