I'm glad he hasn't gotten a push, it's tough to push somebody who doesn't really deserve it.
LMAO! 10 posts in and one of my favorite members.

Yeah, Storm actually had a gimmick that suited him, the quiet guy that let his wrestling do the talking. Shelton is just a spot monkey really, and unless something changes quickly, Morrison is heading down that path soon too.
Morrison's being given promo time though, and judging by his reactions the WWE obviously think highly of his personality. Besides, it's not like the casual fans are judging his mic skills, and management probably think he has enough of them to get by with his character. But I agree, he either needs to be heel or be carried to look good on the mic.
Yes. Shelton is a spot monkey who has no technical wrestling ability whatsoever. Proven by all of his high flying moves during his matches. There's his top rope base jump and...>_> He's a lot like that Lucha libre Undertaker with his rope walk. (Shelton also does a springboard blockbuster rarely though.)
H4H, that's just ignorance on the "casual fan's" part then. Anyone who says he's a spot monkey and can't wrestle does not watch his matches. They're just going back to MITB, which he does crazy shit in every year, that's true. But in his regular matches he is as grounded and as much of a storyteller as anybody.
Saying he has no character or charisma is fine because he's not exactly a complex character or anything. Anyone who is a fan of his is not because his mic work. (although I think he has improved.)
with Shelton, do any of the fans really care about what he does? when a casual fan thinks about him, the first thing that comes to mind is how he does flips off ladders and jumps really high, not about how good of a character he is. it's almost like the Canadian Destroyer. Other than that move, fans won't care that much, no matter how good he is.
Morrison needs swag, it doesn't matter if it's on the mic. He just needs to learn how to get the crowd involved without being lame.
It's cos he's lazy. He gets a chance, like an IC title or an ECW title, and he seems content with it.
