Would be a good time for him to return to WWE. They need more star power and need a stronger midcard and he would slot right back in. WWE are apparently looking to rehire some former stars and so this does seem like the perfect fit.

Would you want to see him back in WWE? If he does return would you rather see him as a singles wrestler or back with Hass as WGTT?

What could Shelton do that Kofi couldn't. I don't want them bringing him in just not use him properly.

Unless they really are bringing in some midcarders to give thre IC US and tag titles some push. I love the WGTT but they need a manager

Shelton is the better wrestler and arguably the better talker, although overall they are quite similar. What's the harm in having two guys that can do similar things in the midcard? They can easily have Shelton and Kofi in the same midcard, they have a lot of hours to fill each week so it wouldn't hurt to have both.

Shelton Benjamin would have a hard time pulling this off as well as Kofi did.

WWE just needs to take more chances with Kofi.

That Kofi vid is the sole reason why he can never become a maineventer. He sucks at promos and just because a person yell, doesn't mean they are great at talking.

Oh and bringing in Shelton? Yeah, because people are constantly clamoring for WWE to bring in older guys instead of building up newer ones amiryt?

Shelton is not really a "older guy" He' can still go as good as any young guy. I find most wrestlers don't develop into great talkers as faces. Most times going over as a heel for a bit helps develop a character and how to talk. CM punk wasn't ranked a great talker in wwe until he went heel. Neither was Shawn Neither was Daniel Bryan. and many others

Meh.... Crowds didn't give a shit before he left so can't see it being any different now. Should bring back MVP as an upper mid-card jobber (a ala Christian) , not Benjamin.

The new guys need someone to feud with other than other new guys. WWE need a few more solid hands in the midcard to help get these guys over and bring more legitimacy to the midcard divisions, Shelton would be perfect for that role.

This is only because the smarky audiences fetishize heel turns like it is ins't the easiest thing to do in pro-wrestling. People were saying Big Shows turn last year revamped his career and was doing the best work of his career, just days after they were saying good riddance that he was "fired" and he has sucked forever. That is just one example of this, I could literally type for days with examples of the same exact stuff with damn near every wrestler ever.

Being a heel is much harder than a face, face just requires good looks, having cheesy catchphases and sucking up to the locals. Getting someone to truly dislike you now thats an art.

That is just pure hogwash, it takes alot more effort to get people to cheer for you than it is to get them to boo you. It is easy to get people to boo you, all it takes is one cocky facial expression, saying a sports team sucks, bending a rule and you got yourself a typical heel character from the past 40 years.

Being a popular babyface and a hero to kids and some adults is the real art. It only takes one second to destroy credibility for a face, a heel can be booked to lose and still have steam.

Most wrestlers if not all of them would say being a heel is a lot easier than being a face is and therefore most prefer it, but there are some guys that just aren't cut for it like Steamboat. If you are flashy it is difficult, otherwise not so much.

Yeah, I have never heard anything of this sort before. Being a face is MUCH harder than a heel, whether we're talking about wrestling, real life whatever. Just think about how much easier it is to get a co-worker to hate your guts than it is to get them to genuinely like you. Even if it's easy to get people to like you, just think how much easier it'd be to get them to hate you.

So wait being an a-hole is harder than being nice? There is absolutely no logic. There is a reason why Jericho and Edge wanted to stay as heels for most of their careers. It’s obviously easier and more enjoyable.

If Shelton was to come back WWE would probably just tag him up with Kofi as they are both similar.
Much like what they are doing with Mysterio and Sin Cara.

Fine I will have to conceed at least semi-defeat on this one as it seems I am largely outnumbered by people who have a good standard of knowledge between them. My take on it through is just that from the fans point of view it is harder to muster pure hate, whereas the moment you hear someone praising your home town or coming to the rescue of a fellow face it just seems a natural reaction to cheer, but with a heel because part of their deal is to ramble on, it is sometimes eaiser as a fan to get more bored than anything else.
