I hate to say it, and I'm going to go back on my original opinion and take a complete 180 here. But....
I think Taker's streak should end. I'm just getting so bitter and sick of seeing these old fucks sticking around and clogging up the main event scene. At this point with the right build I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Drew end the streak. The party is over baby.

Drew McIntyre is going to fully bypass the streak and skyrocket to main event.

VINCE: "Drew vs. Taker at Mania? Drew doesn't need that shit! Give him the WWE Championship! Hunter is IC Champ, I mean Drew, and my lips are glued to his ASS!!!"

Can't believe this has went 3 pages. Kinda waste of a thread, imo. This match so obviously won't happen again at WM, because it's such a huge downgrade from what else COULD happen. Most notably, Cena vs. Taker which I 95% guarantee you will happen at WM 26. This match will occur on another shitty 3-hour Raw and/or a random ass PPV, such as the one before WM (similar to what happened in 06 with Angle and Taker) to build the PPV. He said it to hype gullible fans up, which apparently worked. =p

If it 'must' still be a WM match then give us a chance to forget how shit the Jericho/Taker stuff was over the last couple of months.

Next year maybe....

Punk/Taker could have also been a sweet option this year, but as we know they royally fucked up the potential of that fued too.

So who you thinking is gonna beat Taker @ WM this year then?[/quote]

I was saying if they do the Taker/Michaels 2, Michaels would have a good chance at actually winning this time

@Noumenon-Taker should retire and return occasionally (maybe everyother year or 2) around WM time to challenge an young ham nacre that thinks he's the shit. Keeping his streak

I'm dont think it will happen i still think we will get HHH/HBK at Mania. And that was a blow it out ya arse thing. We will probs get HBK/Taker WM revenge match but not actually at Mania. Call me stupid but I'm hoping for golden boy Cena to go crazy MOFO Heel on takers arse and end his streak @ Mania. Hope is still alive and kicking in me anywayz LOL

To answer the thread's question, no HBK/Taker will not be happening for the second year in a row. If anything, that will happen close to the Road to Wrestlemania to hype up the biggest show of them all. I see HBK/Taker co-headlining a 3 hour Raw that also features HHH/Cena to hype the two WM main events (Cena/Taker, HHH/HBK)

And if that 'challenge' did anything it reminded me just how amazing Shawn Michaels is. The man IS in a MOTY or at least one MOTYC every year. He always has stand out feuds when he's not in DX. And he is still one of the top in ring performers in the world. My only hope is if they do the HHH/HBK feud for WM is either have HHH turn heel or do a 'Whose the better man' feud, in either case it's not going to hurt HHH to put his buddy over. Let HBK get the final win in this storied feud and allow him to move onto putting the young talent in prime position to take over. HBK still has so many fantastic feuds he can really cement his legacy even more.

Shawn Michaels vs.
-Drew McIntye
-John Morrison
-Cody Rhodes (I see him taking a huge step up if and when Ted Jr. turns face.)
-Kofi Kingston
-Jack Swagger
-Dolph Ziggler

The names go on forever and HBK's feud's always mean something so I sense after WM he will go on a year long dream match run with the young talent and hang it up at WM 27.

Danielson, Low Ki, Ryder, Rey, Christian, Shelton, Angle if he comes back. There's so many other options he could do at WM to put some guy over with an amazing match (like Benoit did for MVP). Fuck another match with Taker, seriously. So Blue.

They tried the Rock/Hogan Rematch at a PPV other than WM and that totally bombed. This is going to be the successful WM Rematch where it actually happens at WM.

I'd love to see a rematch, not sure if they can top the WM25 match, but I'm sure they'll come close. If they book it, I think the sole purpose will be to end Taker's streak. And as a huge Shawn Michaels mark, I have absolutely no problems with that.

The only point of that was to get Rock over as a heel.
Undertaker vs Cena would be immense. Don't know why it's getting shit on.
Coming from someone who wouldn't care if Cena left for good, agreed. It's something to actually look forward to, because it hasn't been done. I would make a joke that I'm waiting for WWE to blow it on a 3-hour Raw, but to anyone with a brain it's obvious they won't and it's so obvious that they are setting it up for their first encounter at WM 26.

Undertaker Vs Cena back in 2003/2004 were average/decent, back in the Day.

I guess they could be good now, But I would still Like to See Undertaker Vs Y2J again. Just this time make it go longer than 10 Mins. or Taker Vs HBK V would be awesome to.

What about a Undertaker Vs Christian? (it could make a good smackdown move/potential Heel turn for christian)

This thing is, Cena's in ring skills are supremely underrated. Sure he dead sells alot, like that kick from Sheamus on RAW, but he's still very solid in the ring. Undertaker knows what Wrestlemania means, and by his matches with Shawn and Edge the previous couple of years, even though his hips/knees are shot and everything, he still brings everything he has to Wrestlemania. On a personal level, I hope this is his last WM, because I think it's time for him just to let it go. But Cena vs Undertaker would be fantastic, not just match wise, but as a Main Event.

Cena's no selling is more of a problem than his dead selling tbh.
