So for it to be half-assed would mean it is fake solving? Do you know Doc's scum game? There are many people that will solve and it will drastically reduce the chances of them being scum as scum often doesn't bother to solve. Presumably if his town game is extremely thorough then his scum game is at least somewhat thorough but I also know he doesn't like being scum.

I don’t think he thought it was an opportunity to lynch me or anything, that’d be a huge overreach, but I thinI people would be very willing to distrust me and the more damaged my in thread standing is, the better (if he’s scum)

we haven’t seen a doc scum game for 20 months off the top of my head, so gonna be hard to answer this accurately, but I would expect him to try and maintain the solvy approach but obviously struggle a bit for content, which is where I’ve got him pegged atm. He’s not really a background player either as town

Until he was pressed, did you see solving posts from doc?

Honestly, I didn't know he was pressed, I haven't read back at all and have been commenting on stuff as it crops up and I liked that post (it stood out to me as good townish content)

Look at it from the POV if he’s scum, he has one of the best players after him and another player who’s very active and universally town read pushing his lynch and he called them both town. He knows he’s done in his hypothetical but likely scum POV

Hmm yea that does make a certain amount of sense. I think on balance this is a decision I can live with.

I do trust you. Even more with Lethal claim even if I still have some doubts on him. I am taking it into consideration for sure. Only thing that would make me pause if Odo not being more confused at your claim with his hint but that might have been misreading his hint and assuming what he might be. Posyer is not someone I associate with being this passive as town though faced with the chop. I mean I barely care about this game and I still am fighting/ putting effort in. Also him not mentioning me at all was weird. I'll say this though reading so far, he is putting way more aggression into his defense than he did this game.

Been stuck on a Gambit tunnel which I feel is going nowhere right now. I’ll circle back to this when I have time to deep dive.

Re: Poyser, he’s been pretty vocal about not feeling playing as scum over the last few games. Could this be why his meta seems so deflated?

He has lacked the usual bite and early playfulness - he just doesn’t feel as proactive pushing the game and trying to solve players like he has done in his last town appearances (specific examples of when he pushed me D1 in one of the last two games, maybe AEW?)

@Odo - I know you’ve listed your reasonings for Poyser, what’s the biggest thing for you that makes you think he’s scum please? Been trying to keep up on my phone but between calls and my Gambit focus I’ve likely missed things on Poyser.
