*SPOILERS* If you haven't seen WWE Payback and don't want to know the results then look away now. *SPOILERS*

RVD is back in WWE and will be back at Money In The Bank PPV. He received a huge reaction from the crowd when the video played and MITB is in Philly so the reaction is going to be incredible. It is the perfect PPV for him to return at as well especially if they put him in one of the MITB matches.

Are you glad to see RVD back in WWE? How would you like to see him used?

Re: Former WWE Champion Back With WWE *Payback Spoilers*

He'll be slotted into the MITB where he wins and actually defeats John Cena 8D

Re: Former WWE Champion Back With WWE *Payback Spoilers*

RVD vs. Ryback in a battle of the wrestling singlets.

With his return occuring at MITB surely this hints at him being in one of the MITB matches. I can't see him winning it though, definitely not the WWE title one, if he was to win one it would be the WHC MITB match to try to boost that mainevent and to try to draw more viewers to Smackdown. He is going to get one hell of a reaction at MITB with it being in Philly.

It has been six years since he was last signed with WWE although he did make that Rumble appearance in 2009. I was surprised that it has been that long since he was last in WWE. Have there been any reports on the length of this deal? Is it a short term thing finishing at SummerSlam or is it a one year deal?

Agreed with Troy, it is the perfect PPV and venue for his return.. crowd will go nuts!! I really, really hope we find out that he just wasn't motivated in TNA and he's still got some good/great matches left in him..... off the top of my head I'd be interested in him working with Cesaro, Sandow, Ambrose, and of course Ziggler...

Re: Former WWE Champion Back With WWE *Payback Spoilers*

In TNA he was used well to start with but then faded away and they just didn't seem to know what to do with him. Here's hoping that WWE have a long term plan mapped out for what will happen with RVD once he returns.

With his background I suspect WWE will play up the possibility of him being a Paul Heyman guy when he returns but I can't see him being anything other than a face. There are plenty of good young/new heels that he can work with and hopefully he can give the rub to a few of them.

RAW MITB featuring Y2J, Cesaro, Barrett...

Think that'd work nicely.

Tonight is in Grand Rapids, don't expect them to hold off until the PPV after last nights reaction.

I watched the entire PPV and never saw that promo. I heard a lot about RVD throughout the night, but the announcers never mentioned it, and I never saw the video. As far as I know it was just speculation.

Edit: Just checked WWE.COM. Not kidding though, never saw the promo during the night.

Meh, he'll still be the exact same RVD who we saw in the WWE previously and the exact same unmotivated looking RVD we saw in TNA. With that said though, I still marked for the promo, will mark when he's actually on TV and don't mind this signing at all.

Re: Former WWE Champion Back With WWE *Payback Spoilers*

Should be interesting to see what they have planned for him as his return seems well planned out for a fire start him returning in ECW country. Really want to see the feud that I thought was going to happen in the ECW revamp in Punk vs RVD as it just pretty much writes itself and think their styles would mesh together pretty good.

ECW reunion show 8D But I really do want a Dolph/RVD match just for each guy trying to out bump the other into death.

Not sure what you'd get from a limited schedule short term RVD deal. I mean I suppose he could put over a new guy as "extreme" but what's the point of that?

The guy can't cut a promo, can't throw a convincing punch or kick to save his life, and is going to flop on out of a nostalgia pop within a few months.

Pass.

Re: Former WWE Champion Back With WWE *Payback Spoilers*

Didnt know he was returning but know he got a short term deal :hhh2:

i can see him as a ppv and tv attraction. Sort of between what Rock/Brock/Taker do and what Jericho does.
