While it’s not etched in stone, the current plan is to have Sting vs. Hulk Hogan main event TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view. This would all depend on Hogan’s health and if he can wrestle or not.

Thoughts?

Can't personally seeing anyone buy this PPV to see the match. The buildup may not be so bad.

Who am I kidding? It's TNA, they'll find a way to mess it up.

Commone sense would dictate that people over 50 with bad hips/knees and recent back surgery shouldn't be wrestling. But common sense is something TNA doesn't have.

If Hogan was to and thats a big IF, he would most likely be your new TNA world champion. Sting is over 50 and shouldn't be champion either, but he isn't in the terrible shape that Hogan is.

30 years ago this would have been quite a match of the ages. Today, both of them will probably wind up paralyzed. I am ok with Sting as Champion right now. It is obviously going to be his last time holding the title (more than likely) and with the lack of push to the younger guys, he is the ONLY guy I want to see the title on. Hogan or Flair as Champion would kill TNA just like Mick Foley's title win at Lockdown. It will happen but I'll continue watching until Hogan or Flair get the belt. Mostly because I don't like the E these days.

Quite often the title does change hands at Bound For Glory, and knowing Hogan's ego I suspect if this match does happen than he will be the new TNA World Champion, and lets all hope that will be the final nail in their coffin.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised at all if Hogan won the title either. That way he could claim that he's won the title in every major wrestling company in the USA really. Gotta feed that ego!

After eight back surgeries why does Hogan still want to wrestle? I just can't understand his thought process behind it. Sure if it was an arm injury I could understand it but when it is your back you are nuts for wanting to take bumps again. If someone goes wrong he will be in a wheelchair or worse.

I don't know why anyone would want to see this either. He can't wrestle and is an embarrasment now.

It's not just on Hogan and TNA as to why he still wants to wrestle, it's also the fans fault. They were the ones who keep asking for one more match, and turn around and talk shit about how this guy or anyone else can't stop trying to live in the past.

I attech no blame to the fans at all, if Hogan didn't have such a big ego, or even was a bit more strong willed he would resist it.

I honestly have no idea how you can say this.

In all my times searching forums and shit like that never have I seen over the past two years someone say "I want Hogan to wrestle another match"

That would be like wanting to see Nash wrestle another match, but you know, worse.

If you're that big of a Hogan mark that you can't see that he's just a glory whore, then I honestly don't know what to say. It's 100% not the fans fault. 99% of them didn't want him in TNA to begin with.

Deezy speaks ergo it must be truth. I also just realized it was odd that Hogan has been with TNA for what three years now? ANd WWE still put him in their video game...

First off, never call me a mark, I despise that name. Secondly, IWC are not the only fans out there, and thirdly, those idiots in the Impact Zone going apeshit over everytime Hogan was wrestling is the sole reason why he keeps doing it. Same reason why Sting does it and the same reason why Nash and Foley do it.

If the reactions were even lukewarm they would know it's time to move on, but its never that way, because of the nostalgic nature of fans. Also its the naysayers in the forums that have to share the blame as well, why? Because word always comes back to these people, and they want to prove them wrong.

Same reason why Evander Holyfield still boxes, the same reason why Chris Chelios kept coming back. Same reason why Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell kept fighting. The anonymous shit talking nature of forums is a major reason why people past their prime keep doing it.

Hogan has an ego? Sure he does. All wrestlers do, if they didn't; they wouldn't be in professional wrestling period. Every wrestler is a glory whore to some degree, what is the goal of every wrestler? Fan adulation. The more fans you get, the money you make.

People in the Impact Zone going apeshit everytime he wrestles?

I'm pretty sure he's only wrestled once since he's been in TNA and wasn't it that tag match that lasted about 2 minutes?

On a recent Impact didn't the fans chant one more match at Hogan?

And this is the basis of my whole point.
