Yeah, but because they were encourge to do it I bet, and there is no way that if Hogan didn't want to wrestle, than the fans would be able to convince him other wise. Yes pretty much everyone in wrestling does have a ego, but Hogan is far worse than most, and far more cyincal about it. And I would suggest the reason many wrestlers hold on way past their prime is more to do with the money, and not being able to leave the spotlight.

Besides I am more with Lucky here, I think if you asked most TNA fans if they wanted to see Hogan wrestle, the answer would likely be no.

Cynical isn't about having an ego. And he didn't need money until his divorce, it didn't stop him from coming back from time to time for WWE. Flair as well didn't need to step back into the ring when he was working for WWE, but it didn't stop him from going back to the ring. Abdullah The Butcher is well off and he still wrestles at 70. Maybe these people actually enjoy being in the ring, getting that performers rush that Ted DiBiase said was addicting.

Gee, it's almost like they are lifers. You know people who were fans before they entered the ring. You see Mero, Goldberg or any other wrestler who weren't fans before starting out still wrestling? No.

Yeah there is an element of that, sometimes these people have nothing else in their lifes, and so they just can't let go. I still take issue with you over the money thing, I know Hogan is rich, or at least was rich, but I don't think that would stop him from wanting to make more money, and I think you are giving him too much cridet, there are lots of people who have a passion for the wrestling business, but they still know when it is time to leave.

I don't know why this argument has to be about how Hogan is such an ego maniac, when the company itself is still letting him wrestle. It's going to their fault if something tragic happens to Hogan, Flair, Sting or Angle for that matter.

It's also going to be the fans fault for expecting everyone to wrestle, these are the same type of fans who were asking Bret Hart when he was going to wrestle when he was in a wheel chair. Did I once say every fan was like that? No. Don't understand how people keep trying to twist my words around.

Well I agree with you on the Bret Hart one, and I do think it is a problem with wrestling fans on a whole. But this whole thing still comes back to the man himself, if he gets injuried badly will it partly be TNA's fault, maybe, but the sole blame still is with Hogan he has the power to say no if he chooses [and I suspect this is more his doing than TNA's], and I think you are way out of the line with the fans thing, because like I said most of them don't want to see Hogan wrestle. Scott's a TNA fan, ask him if he wants to see Hogan wrestle, I bet he says no.

It's up to the company to make the decision whether Hogan wrestles or not, WWE made the harsh decision of releasing Angle so he wouldn't die on their payrole. TNA needs to start thinking about doing this with a handful of their roster.

Slight difference is Hogan has power behind the scenes in TNA [in many ways him and Bishoff are running the show], where as Angle didn't in WWE.
