Have to go with Krazy Kurt. Yes Buddy Rogers was the first champion but he was only champion for a month and so didn't do much at the top.

Angle by far. Anybody who votes for Buddy Rogers is just voting old for the sake of old. I hate when people do that shit. They think the older it is, the better it is. "THE BEATLES ARE THE GREATEST BAND EVER!" "MASH IS THE BEST TV SHOW EVER!". No, they fucking aren't.

Angle is an unbelievable performer and it would be a disgrace if he lost to anybody with the exception of Austin.

The original Nature Boy had a good run considering but Angle is the definition of a wrestling champion.

Kurt Angle should be beat Buddy Rogers kinda... But as soon as Angle goes against someone with whose anything noteworthy with a 2 month plus reign, Angle is out of the competition... God awful wrestler, overrated as hell... Only his first reign in WWE was anything good, the rest I Can't remember properly... WWE booked him so protectively that him and Shawn Michaels' shouldn't even be in this competition on default.

How can you say WWE protected Angle? He constantly was asked to put the likes of Edge and Cena over. Although he was well etisblished by the time he left there, he never got the run as the company's top guy which he deserved.

Wasn't being on top during the SmackDown! Six period enough?

Getting someone over is one thing but being a good wrestler is an entirely different concept - While Angle has performed some very good matches, 90% of his matches are write offs, Angle himself is only as good as the opponent he's face, so his best matches came out of guys such as Chris Benoit, who is clearly one of the best wrestlers ever to step foot in the ring, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena, the names can go on from that stand point. Angle's 2002 feud with Edge was credibly entertaining and put on some really solid matches which is a rare occusion for Angle when Edge isn't a GOAT in the ring. while if you want further proof of Kurt Angle's fawls, look no further than his TNA stint, not only has he whored out his finishers to point they aren't even noteworthy - he's only had two matches which were considered great, one with Samoa Joe in his peek and one against Desmond Wolfe, comes without saying both men are clearly better wrestlers than Angle by a long shot. Only other matches I can fathom which even come close to being good are his matches with Abyss from 2007 to 2008 and his various matches with AJ Styles, which come closer to spotfests than Actual wrestling matches - the fact is, Abyss and Styles are the only two guys who could muster something half decent out of Angle.

Wasn't being on top during the SmackDown! Six period enough?

The Smackdown Six, I Make no lies was my favourite time for tag team wrestling but if you look at it, Angle was working with Chris Benoit, Eddie, Chavo Guerreros AND Rey Mysterio, which ultimately show have protective Angle was being booked, facing opponent with far more developed in-ring prowless and abilities to perform and Angle... Yet more proof Angle has always been protectively booked and quite frankly, fails without that protective booking - he relies on the "Who can kick out more?" theory, which is shit when it's happening every month, as Angle does.

How much more proof do I Need to give to prove Angle is indeed overrated and heavily protected?
