Ok FIRST OF ALL.... Mick Foley made that promo good. And what a coincidence... the best promo Edge ever had was with arguably the greatest mic worker in the history of time.

Secondly, "heat" is "heat". Why do some people get hung up on WHAT makes them boo somebody? That shit never made sense to me. Unless you're a babyface that's getting booed simply because the crowd doesn't like you, there's nothing wrong with HOW you get heat. And Vickie is a master at it. Edge never was. In fact, Edge always needed a supporting cast to get him heat. When he faced Undertaker at WM23, no one booed him. No one gave a shit about him. But notice the difference when he faced Undertaker after that promo with Mick Foley... 1000x more heat.

Edge was always overrated. And I don't just mean at promos, but practically everything he ever did. Best god damned transitional champion of all time.

I really love the promo Fab put down. I think Vickie is amazing on the mic too, certainly better at getting the crowd to react than Edge is but Edge has a whole career of putting together some fantastic promos as either part of Edge & Christian or by himself. Vickie is just a clingy, man-hungry slut and you of course what to boo her fat ass off stage.

Just to be clear I am not knocking Vickie in anyway I think she is good at getting heat and skilled on the mic, but Edge has done it far more consistantly in more varied ways. You can trace it back to the days with Christian.

Edge hands down for me. I can count so many great Edge promos off the top of my head, he was just so damn good.
