I was surprised at how many times Bret's name came across on lists but he wasn't bad at all. He was simple and to the point, and his work with Team Canada was actually pretty good. I never liked Jimmy Hart. He served his purpose but didn't entertain me.

I really just liked the simplicity Bret put into his promos. He just felt like an average guy you could relate to. It was nice.

Bret Hart was very good on the mic, he didn't have to portray an extroverted character, he was mostly calm and when he raised his voice it only made you pay attention more. His run in 97 was gold.

I agree with all the support for Bret and his promos and the reasoning, but I am suprised for the dislike for Jimmy, he never failed to entertain me, it was his off the wall lanague which made his promos. Big Jimmy Hart fan and that laugh was gold.
