By using the role you save a town player from being lynched and force scum to waste another day phase POSSIBLY lynching that same player OR giving that town player a chance to save themselves, not to mention all the extra interactions you get from saving the town player

Helps im not buying Odo’s bullshit and have him as scum I guess cause doubtful there aligned yea?

If the lynch is stopped nobody dies, scum kill at night, mislynch the next day at that's 2

if the lynch isn't stopped the player is lynched, scum kill at night, toss up the next day then it's a possible 3 town deaths

Blaine has me worried tbh, I think he’s really trying to law low as mafia. I’ve seen him do it before and it works for him as he gets townread pretty easily.
