Episode 1 (April 13th 2013)
- First segment starts with Nigel McGuinness leading the ROH locker room to the ring. Nigel says this is a dawn of a new era in ROH, with honor finally being restored. He then introduces the NEW ROH World Champion, Jay Briscoe. He says that he plans on holding the title for a long time and has always been proud of being a part of ROH. However, Adam Cole interjects and says he is the future of pro wrestling, and that Jay’s reign will be over in Toronto.- Bobby Fish def. Eddie Edwards via a jacknife pin
- QT Marshall & RD Evans def. Alabama Attitude.
- #1 Contendership for TV Title: Mark Briscoe def. BJ Whitmer, Mike Mondo, Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander. Mark picked up with the win with a Froggy ‘Bow, and will face Matt Taven at Border Wars.

Episode 2 (April 20th 2013)
- Show kicks off with Steen & Corino in the ring. Steen singles out Matt Hardy, says he doesn’t want him as a part of SCUM. Corino says that Matt Hardy is the next ROH World Champion candidate, and SCUM then beats down Steen. Hardy finishes Steen off with a Twist of Fate.
- Roderick Strong def. Mike Bennett via suplex backbreaker. Mike Mondo was on commentary for this one (#BOOM). He then attacks Strong after the match.
- TaDarius Thomas vs. Jorge Santi ended in a No Contest when SCUM interfered. Corino did a promo about SCUM’s mission, and says that Steen will never be seen again.
- Jay Lethal & Michael Elgin vs. SCUM set for Border Wars. If SCUM wins, Hardy gets an ROH Title shot, and Corino becomes commentator. If Lethal & Elgin win, Corino is gone from ROH.
- TV Title: Matt Taven (c) def. ACH. Truth and Scarlet caused the distraction allowing Taven to retain. Mark Briscoe was on commentary for this one.

Episode 3 (April 27th 2013)
- Jimmy Jacobs, Cliff Compton & Rhett Titus def. BJ Whitmer, Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander. Titus used a chain to hit BJ Whitmer and get the win for SCUM. Lethal and Elgin came out to make the save.
- Jay Lethal def. Rhett Titus. Lethal challenged Rhett to this match, saying he was disappointed in Rhett for turning his back on ROH.
- Up next is a contract signing for Border Wars between Adam Cole and Jay Briscoe. SCUM interrupt which leads to the next match
- Jay Briscoe & Adam Cole def. Rhino & Matt Hardy. Briscoe & Cole have a staredown to end the show.

Episode 4 (May 4th 2013)
- Karl Anderson def. Michael Elgin with an Ace Crusher. Said to have been a fantastic match.
- MsChif def. ???. Veda Scott attacked MsChif after the match.
- Davey Richards def. Kyle O’Reilly via submission. Bobby Fish was on commentary and Eddie Edwards was at ringside. The crowd were really hot for this main event, which went on for over 20 minutes.

Are they planting the seeds for a Mark Briscoe heel turn? He gets a TV title shot at Border Wars so if he loses there he could start resenting Jay for being able to beat Steen and win a singles title. Cole vs. Jay at Border Wars should be good but after reading these results it seems like Jay will retain the title there.

Wonder if Steen is just turning face or will be gone from ROH for a bit. They have done well utilising Matt Hardy here as a key member of SCUM, fans were always going to boo him and I like that stipulation for the tag team match at Border Wars. I see SCUM winning there so that Hardy gets the title shot and Corino becomes colour commentator.

Sound like some good shows, this SCUM vs ROH is working out well.

I don't see there being a Jay vs Mark feud for the title. Mark will lose at Border Wars for sure. SCUM will beat Elgin & Lethal too. Corino on commentary all the time would be awesome. And ROH teasing an Adam Cole heel turn is awesome. His heel work in PWG has been awesome so far.

I really hope this doesn't mean Steen will be taking a break. It'd be good to see them get right into a SCUM vs Steen feud, instead of leaving it until later in the year.

It'll also be interesting to see what they do with the two Briscoes. If Mark loses at Border Wars then it'd be another sign pointing towards a heel turn, with Mark getting jealous that he couldn't beat either Steen or Taven for their titles, yet Jay could do it at Supercard. I could be wrong though, they could also go for a Eddie/Davey BITW type match either.

The tapings look pretty good. I'll check out Anderson/Elgin and Davey/O'Reilly when they come out.

Steen is scheduled for an Australian/Japan/Europe tour in June. He'd be off TV for a bit I'd assume but looking at all of this is awesome.

Will be watching thats for sure, Cliff Compton!

NOTE: Making this the default ROH TV Thread. We had a thread last year for it but we will try again with it to see if it works. Will try to keep it updated.

ROHWorld said:
Episode 1 (July 6th 2013)
- Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander def. John Silver & Alex Reynolds via Overtime (Leaping hurricanrana into frog splash combo).
- Nigel McGuinness revealed that Mark Briscoe is out of Steel Cage Warfare due to an injury sustained at Best in the World. Kevin Steen comes out and demands to be Mark’s replacement, this led to SCUM interfering and taking out Steen. However, Team ROH made the save, indicating that Steen may be on Team ROH after all.
- MsChif def. Veda Scott via Obliteration (Second rope piledriver).
- Adam Page def. Silas Young via Victory Roll. After the match, Silas beat down Page.
- ROH World TV Title match: Matt Taven def. Eddie Edwards via modified DDT.

Episode 2 (July 13th 2013)
- Tommaso Ciampa def. QT Marshall via running knee. Prince Nana watched on from the entrance way.
- Mike Bennett def. an unnamed local wrestler in a squash match. After the match Bennett claims that ROH has begged him to stay and then he tried to hand the contract to Cheeseburger who had come to the ring. He instead attack him which sees Brutal Bob hit the ring to aid the attack but Bennett turns on him before proclaiming that ‘The Prodigy is dead’.
- Jay Briscoe comes down for a promo and says he may be hurt but he’s still breathing. He says Matt Hardy will have to pry the title from his cold hands.
- ROH World Tag Team Title match: reDRagon def. C&C Wrestle Factory via chasing the dragon. The American Wolves, SCUM and Adrenaline RUSH brawled at ringside during the match.

Episode 3 (July 20th 2013)
- Roderick Strong def. Adam Cole via DQ. Strong called out Cole after the cheap finish to last night’s match at Best In The World and it led to another match. There was a ref bump at one point which allowed Steve Corino to throw a chain into the ring. Strong tried to get rid of it before Cole used it and got disqualified.
- ROH World Title match: Jay Briscoe def. Matt Hardy via small package. Post match, both Team ROH and Team SCUM hit the ring and begin to brawl. Rhino hits a gore on Jay Briscoe before Hardy steals the World Title, wears it and smashes Jay’s arm in a steel chair. SCUM stand tall heading into Steel Cage Warfare.

Episode 4 (July 27th 2013)
- The American Wolves def. Mike Sydal & an unknown partner via top rope double stomp from Davey Richards.
- Steel Cage Warfare: Team ROH (BJ Whitmer, Jay Lethal, Michael Elgin & Kevin Steen) def. SCUM (Jimmy Jacobs, Rhett Titus, Cliff Compton & Rhino). SCUM won the con flip and will get the man advantage. Jacobs and Whitmer start the match off. Titus in next followed by Elgin and Compton. Whitmer is the first to be eliminated before Jay Lethal and Rhino enter and the latter is eliminated by Lethal. Steen is the last entrant and is immediately attacked by Hardy. The cage door is left open and all the guys quickly spill out of the ring. Titus is the next to eliminated by Lethal but he is then pinned by Compton after a chair shot. Elgin managed to eliminate Compton but ‘Unbreakable’ is the next out after a fireball from Steve Corino. Corino tries to do the same to Steen but Nigel makes the save and helps Steen pin Jacobs as Team ROH wins! SCUM have to disband per the stipulations of the match. Adam Cole is on the entranceway but Nigel tells SCUM to leave. Jacobs leaves on his own accord as Hardy and Corino require security.

Apparently this could be the last appearances of the Briscoes in ROH for sometime. I presume that the ROH World Title will be vacated if he is gone and they will set up a tournament for it. Wonder what will become of the SCUM members now that they have to disband?

Am going to make an effort to watch this every week at least for awhile.

Just seen last weeks show.

The opener was hit and miss, Ciampa is impressive, QT Marshall not so much.

Enjoyed Bannett's promo, thing is he could be of more value to WWE than he is to ROH.

The Tag Title match was fantastic, C&C Factory look very promising, love their style, look and range of moves. The match really flowed with some awesome spots and the action on the outside actually added to the drama.

I've been watching weekly for a couple months now, and I can't say I've wanted to stop. I loved the Tag match as well. While C&C are fantastic, I really dig reDRagon. O'Reilly and Fish are fantastic, and really pull off that technical heel tag team.

I was on their site and Like that "Ringmaster's Challenge" match their having soon with Strong and Cole. I love the concept of the match and those two will BRING it lol. It's a 3 stages of hell. 1st match is Pinfalls online, 2nd is Submission and 3rd is a 15 min Iron man match. If all tied after that, it's sudden death, next decision wins. It's not reinventing the wheel or anything, and easily something I can replicate in WWE'13's Universe mode for my ROH show, just adds a wrinkle

Well I'm slightly bummed out about this SCUM thing, I hope they figure out how to keep it going as I really enjoy the faction.

I think he's pretty good overall. He can be pretty hit and miss at times, but I think he's much better to listen to than Kevin Kelly.

It's a shame he won't be used now that SCUM have disbanded.

I think he's got a future in it, if he wants it. The guy's enough of a name to get a shot at it, and I think he's doing well with it. I'm with you on it Keith. I wasn't too big a fan at first, as it was ALL SCUM ALL THE TIME, but eventually, when he started the heel color guy thing where he begrudgingly gives props to the faces that are impressive, kinda went a little more moderate? It was gold. Great talker.

Oh I like Kelly, was a fan of his in WWF as well. The guys a natural storyteller and always seems to put thought into his work. I think he and Corino make a good pairing.

ROH TV Taping
Providence, R.I. at the Rhode Island Convention Center
Report by Dot Net staffer Zack Zimmerman

Before the show, Jay Lethal, Forever Hooligans, Mark Briscoe, Karl Anderson, Mike Bennett, and Maria were signing autographs.

Dark Match

1. Slyck Wagner Brown beat Rocco Caprese. Brown is just not very good.

The first show taped airs one week from tonight.

Episode One

1. Adrenaline Rush (ACH and Tadarius Thomas) beat 3.0 (Shane Matthews and Scott Parker). ACH scored the win with a cradle DDT in about 8 minutes.

Nigel McGuinness recapped that the ROH title is vacant for the first time. He put Jay Briscoe over and said the decision to strip him wasn't Nigel's, but the doctors. He announced that in three weeks, the title tournament would begin.

He said that with the focus off the world title for the time being, he wants to put emphasis on the tag team titles. He announced that he would be bringing in top tag teams from all over the world.

Red Dragon came to the ring and Bobby Fish did a good job of turning cheers to boos. Fish said he wanted to turn tonight's proving ground match against the Forever Hooligans into an ROH Tag Team Championship match.

The American Wolves interrupted and the crowd was super hot for local boy Eddie Edwards. Davey Richards cut a typical promo and said the whether it was Red Dragon or Forever Hooligans, The American Wolves were coming to collect their tag team titles...

QT Marshall made his way to ringside and talked his way into the qualifier match between Silas Young and Adam Page.

2. Silas Young beat QT Marshall and Adam Page in a three-way to qualify for the ROH Championship Tournament. Young had a very impressive showing and won with a small package on Marshall in about eight minutes.

3. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero and Alex Koslov) defeated Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly to win the ROH Tag Team Championships. Fantastic 15 minute match that ended when Romero escaped Reddragon's finisher and got the pin on a backslide. Stellar action throughout, a must-watch.

Episode Two

1. Michael Bennett (w/Maria) pinned "Brutal" Bob Evans. Bennett won after the Box Office Smash and a TKO in about 7 minutes. Decent match. Post-match, Bennett went to keep attacking Evans, but Cheeseburger hit the ring and ended up eating a piledriver for his efforts.

2. MsChief beat Bonesaw Brooks. MsChief got the win off the Desecrater in about five minutes. Not very good.

3. Michael Elgin, Kevin Steen, and Tomasso Ciampa beat The American Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) and BJ Whitmer in a six-man tag. Elgin pinned Richards after the Revolution Bomb in an awesome 25 minute match. All six men stood tall after the match and got a great extended standing ovation from the crowd.

20 minute intermission.

Before the third taping began, Steve Corino came out to ringside. He was quickly escorted out of the convention center by referees and officials.

Episode Three

1. Brian Fury beat Vinny Marseglia, Todd Hanson, and Kongo in a four-way match. Fury pinned Marseglia after a reverse Samoan drop bulldog. Pretty good action in this one.

2. Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman beat Mike Sydal and Zizou Middoux. Coleman got the pin on Middoux after the Frankensteiner/springboard frog splash combo in about 10 minutes. Some good action, nothing special.

Nigel McGuinness, Cary Silkin, and Joe Koff stood in the ring to introduce the kick-off to the ROH Championship Tournament.

3. Jay Lethal pinned Sonjay Dutt to advance to the second round of the ROH Championship Tournament. Lethal won the solid back-and-forth match after a superkick to the back of Dutt's head and the Lethal Injection. Another good main event.

Episode Four

Bobby Cruise praised Providence as one of the best crowds they've had for a TV taping and thanked everyone for their enthusiasm.

1. ROH TV Champion Matt Taven (w/Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties) beat Brian Fury to retain the ROH TV Title. Taven scored the pin after hitting his modified headlock driver.

Michael Elgin came to the ring and said that nothing means more to him the winning the ROH Championship. He said that because of that, he bypassed being handed the title due to his number one contendership in order to earn the title by winning the tournament.

Kevin Steen interrupted and said Elgin's a liar. He said the Elgin knows the one man he can't beat is Kevin Steen. Steen egged Elgin on and said to try him.

Michael Bennett interrupted and said that he sees two guys who have been given opportunity after opportunity. He said he's looking at the last of Ring of Honor. He said that he's been held back because people think he's leaving ROH. He said he is leaving, but first he's staying.

Tomasso made his full entrance and then took a microphone. He simply said that the next ROH Champion was The Sicilian Psychopath, and then he left the ring and headed to the back. Michael Elgin's music hit and the segment came to an end with the ring full of referees maintaining the peace.

2. "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson beat ACH to advance to the second round of the ROH Championship Tournament. Anderson won after the Gun Stun in a good match.

3. Adam Cole beat Mark Briscoe to advance to the second round of the ROH Championship Tournament. Cole won after hitting the Jay Driller on Mark to continue his slow heel turn. Good match.

Sounds like a good taping. Very surprised to see Forever Hooligans win the tag belts, they must have a fairly relaxed schedule in NJPW for them to be given the belts in ROH. It's a shame reDRagon weren't given a longer reign, I think they're a fantastic tag team.
