Big Show's reign as WWF Champion is short-lived as Triple H regains the title on Smackdown 10 days after Wrestlemania and is set to defend against The Undertaker; Big Show is trying to bounce back by defeating the self-proclaimed United States Champion Kurt Angle. Kane defeats Jeff Hardy to win the Intercontinental and squares off with Chris Jericho at Backlash while new Women's Champion Trish Stratus defends against Lita. The Rock joins forces with his cousin Rikishi to battle the New Age Outlaws while The Hardy Boyz renew their rivalry with Edge & Christian in a Hardcore Match.
