When I'm talking wrestling I'm going to include at least a little Kayfabe as that's what the sport is built on. I don't see the point otherwise. Even if it's just a little it's better with a bit of suspension of disbelief. Even you mentioned in the thread that they were stretching your disbelief with Big Cass.

I got the punch line, but it was WWE in kayfabe suggesting he WAS being paid by people to see him.

That's why I said fair enough. I mean if you want to watch wrestling without reacting to any of the storylines and treating it like it's fake the entire time you're watching it, more power to you, but that would be boring AF to me.

The exact opposite for me. If I ever got to the point I was so zoned out of wrestling that I couldn't get into the angles, even if just a little, I would stop watching. If that gets you by, I'm not gonna tell you how to enjoy it, though.
