I discuss business and make jokes about the news and shows I watch.

Kayfabe has never been my thing.
Fair enough.

When I'm talking wrestling I'm going to include at least a little Kayfabe as that's what the sport is built on. I don't see the point otherwise. Even if it's just a little it's better with a bit of suspension of disbelief. Even you mentioned in the thread that they were stretching your disbelief with Big Cass.

My suspension of disbelief regarded people paying Cass for an appearance. Because he sucks and nobody would pay a dime to see him.

Did you miss the punch line?

I got the punch line, but it was WWE in kayfabe suggesting he WAS being paid by people to see him.

Uhh yeah, I was making fun of the situation.

Has nothing to d with kayfabe, you can comment on a show using their own references. What Happened When with Tony Schiavone and other reaction shows are not kayfabe.

That's why I said fair enough. I mean if you want to watch wrestling without reacting to any of the storylines and treating it like it's fake the entire time you're watching it, more power to you, but that would be boring AF to me.

Been doing that the entire time.

Honestly, the only reason I still watch.

The exact opposite for me. If I ever got to the point I was so zoned out of wrestling that I couldn't get into the angles, even if just a little, I would stop watching. If that gets you by, I'm not gonna tell you how to enjoy it, though.
