If he'd debuted last night, our last shot of him would have been him being eliminated from the Rumble. Tonight, he's standing tall over Seth Rollins.
Because, they weren't having him win the Rumble in his debut. If they didn't do it for AJ, they weren't doing it for him.

Oh, I was, too. I almost wish they'd shown him in the audience like they did during the NXT show on Saturday, but, I guess that left the possibility alive he's come out in the Rumble.
True.... And, it did work out better having him randomly show up to end the show tonight instead, especially with so many people thinking he'd show up last night. They made the better choice, but still. :haha:
I wondered if they were actually going to build to a Mania match between Trips and Rollins. I suppose this means the build will go to Rollins and Joe, unless somebody else is added to the mix (Finn Balor.....)
