Just finished watching it so here's my thoughts:
Bryan/Wyatt was MOTN and is a Early Contender for MOTY, It was a brilliant match between them both and to see the feud come to an end was brilliant.
Bork Lazor/Big Show was a decent match.
Orton/Cena was meh, Worst match of the Night for me but the segment that followed with Cena and the Wyatts gave it some dignity....
Alright, My Honest Thoughts on the Royal Rumble:
My First issue is the amount of feedback about Bryan not being in the rumble. Sure, Mysterio was 30 (Poor choice) but I didn't really expect Bryan to be in the Rumble (But tbh, I haven't watched much of Raw/smackdown in a while). Now, I think this wasn't much of a problem, And I do like Bryan, He's a great wrestler. I mean, He could be in the Elimination Chamber match....Right?
My Second Issue would be Batista...Throughout the whole match, they hyped it up to be Reigns' Rumble and the his year but then they bring Batista in and wins it. Sure, This put Reigns Over Majorly but It's disappointing that they have a man who hasn't been in the ring for a while and thus has ring rust win the Opportunity to ME WM instead of One of your Up and Coming stars that you spent the whole rumble hyping up to be a machine. Well, At least they did redeem themselves for me by Hyping up the Shield Breakup.....I can see it Being Reigns vs Ambrose with Rollins in the middle of it with a choice to choose.
Anyway, There were some good moments like Kevin Nash returning, El Torito (Yeah, Didn't expect me saying that) getting an Elimination (It was nice having a Mini Luchadore in the Royal Rumble match....If only Max Mini.....If only) and of course....The Moment when I marked out....
Rusev....Alexander 'Motherfucking' Rusev.....Oh boy, He came in and he did a brilliant job for his debut.....I can't wait to get back into Raw to see him.....I hope a feud comes around where it's him vs The Real Americans. Speaking of TRA, Colter's Signs made me chuckle a bit.....Cesaro was great and Swagger was alright....
I'll give this a 7/10.....Evolved storylines, Ended some and started some potential good ones....Also Sparked my Interest in Punk vs Kane at WM, which I want to happen now that Kane has got that Physique.....
